The effects have been polished since the International trailer previously released.

also, i love that slide under the bike that Mai does.

the only thing i don't like about this trailer is the bad color quality. but that can't be helped.

I have full confidence in this movie (so don't try and change my mind with the same arguments you've been using since the very beginning. i'm sick of it, and you no matter how hard you try, you're not going to change my mind. so don't waste your time trying.)
SGA - 1/15/2009, 12:53 AM
I'm slightly impressed. The fighting on the clothesline still looks crappy, but to rest looks pretty fast paced and clean from what I can see in this trailer. If that was Chatwin saying "Kamahamaha" in the background.. he sounds pretty good. I gotta say this movie would be alot more interesting if Vegeta was there, but hopefully they do the whole Saiyan thing if they make it to a sequel. I still probably won't see it in theaters, but my confidence for it is growing.
TheMyth - 1/15/2009, 9:26 AM
Wow. This looks 10 times better than the other one. Cool. :D
Lansdowne5 - 1/15/2009, 11:11 AM
I don't care any more.

I'm going to see it, and I'm going to have a freaking good time doing it, whether it's a complete turd or the next TDK (<-- rumors confirm it to be the latter).
StarksNStripes - 1/15/2009, 11:14 AM
won't say anything... SGA can't handle criticism on something he might like (he takes it personally), and I don't feel like offending him right now, maybe later I will.
NoobMike - 1/15/2009, 11:16 AM
Nope still looks like shit to me.
JigJRod55 - 1/15/2009, 11:28 AM
the movie looks badass to me. now i'm not holding super high expectations for it, but it looks 10x better than the original HULK or DAREDEVIL movies...
Schooperman87 - 1/15/2009, 11:36 AM
Noob. i don't care what your take on the movie is, and i can handle criticism, it's just that i get pissed at you because you throw in unecessary personal attacks.
SGA - 1/15/2009, 12:04 PM
Hey hey now now children...

Have an open mind, blow my trigger down
Gimme the last cold turkey blast, make it fast
Take my ass to town

Have an open mind, send my cares away
Ring my bell you fat piggy whale, what the hell Today's your lucky day

You and me... and her, simultaneous
You and me... and Wynona Rider, simultaneous
Simultaneous lovin' baby, two or three...
Simultaneous, ooh, come on

Have an open mind, is a normal thing to do
Don't be rude, just get nude
Oh, you're being rude, I would do it for you
Baby please have an open mind, you're the only one I love
These girls you see, baby they don't mean anything, let's all just get in the tub
You and me... and her too, simultaneous
You and me... and your momma and your sister
Simultaneous lovin' baby, two or three...
Simultaneous oww, come on

Everybody in the pool!

Have an open mind, don't be so mean to me
Call your sister and your mother and your aunt
It's every man's fantasy
Have an open... woa, baby, put that knife away
Don't be mad, I'll take you back, just relax, we can make love your way
I'm talking about

You and me... and some flowers and some wine, instantaneous
You and me... and Whitney Houston (on the radio, babe, on the radio)
Some candles and some good feelings
Just the two of us
Oh, fudge it
Now, I'm talking about

You and me... and her and her and her, simultaneous
You and me... and women in the house, simultaneous
Three and seven, make it a baker's dozen
See the ladies in the house clap your hands
Now that'd be a party, ladies

Putting the feud aside, it looks better than Chun-Li's movie.
Shaman - 1/15/2009, 12:54 PM
OMG I think Goku is human on here.
Crusader - 1/15/2009, 12:59 PM
I'LL WATCH IT, BUT IM HOPING THEY DO A FAST REBOOT, AND DO ONE THAT FANS CAN RELATE TO. IT LOOKS A BIT WATERED DOWN FROM THE HIGH IMPACT MOUNTAIN SHATTERING CRATER CREATING GOD-LIKE EXPLOSION ACTION DGZ FANS KNOW BY HEART. 2 WORDS...WACHOWSKI-BROTHERS.
GUNSMITH - 1/15/2009, 1:07 PM
Well i'm pretty sure it'll kick M. Night Shawarma's Avatar's ass!
Shaman - 1/15/2009, 1:13 PM
In my professional experience, just because you use camera filters and photoshop on something that is shit, it will still be shit, it will just look like prettier shit. although I do have to agree with Shaman, this will be better than Shyamalan's take on Avatar.
NoobMike - 1/15/2009, 1:19 PM
I'm not seeing the movie if he's human.
Crusader - 1/15/2009, 1:22 PM
still looks like shit to me.
tjdr59 - 1/15/2009, 1:31 PM
god this movie is going to be terrible
DSAhawker - 1/15/2009, 2:03 PM
It is funny how people judge an ENTIRE movie from one preview, lets see it 1st than we can pass judgment on wat thet can and cant do, i think the idea is kind corny but im not saying how i feel until i see it.
zinext - 1/15/2009, 2:58 PM
previews are always going to be exciting thats how they sell the movie. I really want to believe that they got more to offer than what they show on the preview.
same movie different angle still not that interested.
HR - 1/15/2009, 3:16 PM
Nice upgrade on effects, i wanna see it on HD but its better for sure t-up
Doritos - 1/15/2009, 3:26 PM
I don't think it will be as big a failure as everyone thinks it will...it has a fighting chance of coming out halfway decent but I'm sure that people will still complain about it.
Joker1Zero - 1/15/2009, 3:46 PM
I won't say anything bad or good about it until i see it.
GunRyder - 1/15/2009, 5:44 PM
Joker1Zero, people always complain no matter what, thats life, cant please everyone, there are many people, "fans", that still cries over transformers, so yeah gotta learn how to ignore and enjoy the movie.
Doritos - 1/15/2009, 5:55 PM
I cannot be open minded about this film, they have blatantly changed the personality of Goku. A big serious WTF.
SoulAllFlush - 1/15/2009, 6:50 PM
wonder what happened to all the supporting cast, ie. Tien, yamcha, krillin etc?
iNsaneMilesy - 1/15/2009, 7:02 PM
Wah wah wah!

How do you guys know Goku is human???

Just makin up sh!t to get upset about, lol.

SHAMAN-

I disagree bro, i have high hopes for Shyamalan's Avatar. I think he is taking this very seriously. He's already been quoted saying this will be his "Lord Of The Rings"!

I totally think he has this in him.
Talontd - 1/15/2009, 8:05 PM
I will see it but I am going to be disapointed

jordan heath - 1/15/2009, 8:33 PM
My thoughts to your thougths! We all just have to wait and see, all we can do is speculate for now. Thou some may be right and some may be wrong.
Spock - 1/15/2009, 8:48 PM
Noob brought up Shyamalan's Avatar.

it's something COMPLETELY different from the Nickelodeon TV show.

it's about some war vetran who's dying and is taken to some fantasy land and given some sort of power so he can stay alive. it is in NO WAY related to the TV show from Nick.
SGA - 1/15/2009, 10:17 PM
The Official U.S. domestic site is now up. it's only got the trailer right now, but it BY FAR has the best audio/visual quality to date.
SGA - 1/16/2009, 1:09 AM
someone call baskin robbins cause this looks like 31 flavors of fail.
grif - 1/16/2009, 5:47 AM
Grif damn it lol. you crack me up dude. as for someone asking about people like Tien and others, Yamcha is in the movie, just not a main character. I read something about it saying he is introduced about halfway through the movie. Besides, they can't intro everyone in one movie. I won't be seeing this in theaters, but I will on DVD, and I'll be waiting for part 2 with the Saiyan stuff and ... Vegeta.
TheMyth - 1/16/2009, 6:59 AM
I'm still convinced this is going to be a kiddy movie... like thunderbirds and power rangers. and on that level i cant see this failing, the target audience of kids will lap it up.
TwistedMonkeyNuts - 1/16/2009, 7:08 AM
SGA, M. Night Shyamalan is making the adaptation of Nickelodeon's Avatar: the last Airbender tv show. The one your talking about is James Cameron's avatar dude.

And so since both movies are adaptations of animation, they should be compared. And judging from all the shit Shyamalan has made after Unbreakable, his ego has got the better of him and he's got this blinded "i'm on a pedestal" attitude that doesn't care about the people that watches his movies. Which is why he's talking out of his ass saying that "it'll be my LOTR". He's not worthy of making such a statement because LOTR is soooo out of his league, never in a million years will he ever pull off an accomplishment like LOTR! Why? Because he doesn't care about anything other than himself. He's got "illusions of grandeur" to a point where he's practically living in a bubble of his own creation where he's the master of his universe. Night should be in a psyche-ward sharing a cell with the guy who sees squirels in Patch Adams. Granted Avatar will be entertaining but Dragonball:evolution will be better regardless of all the bad hype.
Shaman - 1/16/2009, 8:00 AM
Even though I think this movie will be a piece of junk...

it will not fail...I don't see how it could. There are so many DB fanboys/fankids/whatever you want to call them out there. There will be a mass of kids who will drag their parents to see this.

But we all know that the success of a "children's" movie has no bearing on the actual quality of the film. (I know it's not technically a children's movie, but the majority of the target audience/demographic is)

***

Plus...do you guys really like the grpahics in this??? I found them to be pretty mediocre, which is one of the reasons why I think it'll be bad...I just can't take those graphics seriously...

like that motorcycle/ATV thing....eehhhh
DSAhawker - 1/16/2009, 9:36 AM
Shaman...

I would normally agree with ya, but I just looked up the Airbender page on IMDB and Shyamalan didn't actually write the movie, it was written by Michael Dante Dimartino who wrote 61 episodes of the TV show.

I do think that Shyamalan could be a good director if he is only the director and has zero say in the story. That is really where his downfall is IMO.

Soooo...if he starts throwing his ego into the story, then it will fail. But if he is smart and just stays behind the camera and follows the Dimartino's script, then I actually think that it may have potential to be surprisingly good.
DSAhawker - 1/16/2009, 9:39 AM
oh, yeah. :P sorry bout that, i was tired.

thanks for straitening me out there Shaman.
SGA - 1/16/2009, 11:31 AM
Why did they change the color of the Mafuba done by Roshi it was Green in the anime and Green in the international trailer but now they changed it to a yellow, they should change it back to green to appeal to the fanbase.

changing things like move colors wont bother me, as long as the characters are true personality wise I will enjoy it as a DB movie and if not then i will enjoy it as an action flick.
Osiris - 1/16/2009, 12:38 PM
i really want to see this....
but at the same time i dont....

but i know im gonna end up going within opening weekend of its release.... OH WELL!! :]
xantiherox66 - 1/16/2009, 1:53 PM
Waste of production money. So much better anime out there that would have adapted far far better to live-action then Dragon Ball.

Lame.
WeaponX - 1/16/2009, 2:12 PM
No prob SGA :))

DSAhawker- I totally agree with you and hope to god he won't have a single say in the movie! Because i actually want to be wowed :) So he should just "shut up and shoot"!!!

As for Dragonball, we know it's not gonna be a good adaptation, but it just might be a good movie :)
Shaman - 1/16/2009, 2:14 PM
I'm still gonna go watch it but idk what to say, if it'll be good or crap
crappybumbum - 1/16/2009, 2:33 PM
I just saw this clip of the Daragon Ball movie and it was sick! Even though the stuff we have seen so far was really sad. This clip had all the uniforms right and they all had the hair right and it didnt look silly. The actors made up for the campiness with a true genuine swagger and foolish willingness to fight!! The actors were buffed out and huge guys and then the crazy little guy with the wooden body who attacked Jubei in the beginning of Ninja Scroll showed up and i was like Shit!!!! I am dreaming> Then i woke up and felt genuine sadness. Thats a rough way to start a day.
shibazz - 1/17/2009, 12:45 PM
Maybe this movie will be shit, but all of us here are still going to go see it, this trailer looks ok, but it reminds me of a straight to dvd release movie, not a theratical movie, i cant get over seeing the moon, and goku not affected by it, i might be talking about something i dont know, but i hope to god they have at least talk about him having a tail, cuz we all know and im sure the producers all know that dragon ball is not the real story its DRAGONBALL Z, is what we all want to see, so if they can make me want to watch the sequal then im all for it, Its like always said each comic book movie, the first one is usualy good but its the orgin movie so there is really not alot of action, its the sequal we want to all see, so knowing this is the orgin movie, im actually looking more foward to the sequal so i hope they dont jack it up, i really want this to be good
vejita51 - 1/17/2009, 8:01 PM
i think it looks like it could be decent..but im not a fan of the Anime so maybe the fanboys have something to whinge about, i wouldnt know.

As for shalamyans Avatar, i havnt heard dic about it either! But i think the only really bad movie he made was the happening, i even enjoyed lady in the water!..in saying that he does come accross like a bit of an egomaniac..but i guarantee you alot of directors out there are no different!
RorMachine - 1/17/2009, 8:07 PM
Ok, it's been reported that during his transformed state, Goku does have a tail. but just because they don't show it in the film in his normal state doesn't mean that it's not there. he's most likely hiding it under his clothes.

also, it's been said that Piccolo rips off his tail.

I'm not sure how reliable that is, but at least it's something.
SGA - 1/18/2009, 1:08 AM
that sounds pretty sweet SGA, I hadn't heard about that yet and i have been keeping pretty good tabs on this movie, i hope it's reliable.
Osiris - 1/18/2009, 11:45 AM
SGA-

I think you and Noob are a little too fixated on each other?? It was Shaman that brought up Avatar first.

SHAMAN-

Dude, what are you talking about?? I think you've been watching too many episodes of Entourage, perhaps??? How do you know the guy has (and i think you meant) "Delusions of Grandeur"?? If he really is that crazy about the security of his scripts than you could reasonably come to the conclusion that he's paranoid, but to make the leap and say the man has Delusions of Grandeur without having actually spoken with the man seems a bit Asinine.

Do you have access to some interview that I haven't been privy to? Did you have lunch with the man? Have you come to this conclusion from anything other than his stint on Entourage and his odd penchant for absolute script security?

And can you not understand his need for absolute secrecy when it comes to his scripts!?! 5 of his 9 movies had MAJOR plot twists at the end!!! Imagine if everyone had known Bruce Willis was dead the whole time in 6th Sense???

As for your comments about him not having the right to say, this will by my "Lord of the Rings".....why?
---His 6 major films have grossed $1.8 billion
---The only thing Peter Jackson had before LOTR was "The Frighteners" and "Heavenly Creatures"?? C'mon...FAIL & FAIL.

My point is, your statements are ignorant and presumptuous. This is an established and talented director whom I believe is just trying to convey his passion for the project (and at the same time compliment Peter Jackson). You seem to have grabbed on to a modicum of information about the man and created this whole persona in your mind.

If i'm misinformed please enlighten me, but i hope you can back up your knowledge of his character with some facts instead of speculations.
Talontd - 1/18/2009, 2:43 PM
eh, it was an honest mistake. Sure i haven't been seeing eye to eye on him w/ this movie, but it was 10 in the evening and i hadn't slept for a day or so. so much to do.

so, sorry noob. didn't mean to throw that at you in a mean way.

also, shaman, sorry for not realizing it was your post. and ignoring you.

SGA - 1/19/2009, 12:22 AM
"and sorry for ignoring you." in a weird sort of way. :P

i'm tired tonight too...i think i need to sleep more.
SGA - 1/19/2009, 12:23 AM
Talontd- I've spent about over an hour trying to find you the link of the article i read about him but i can't find it anywhere. It was one of those "click here to get the whole debate" kinda things. I read a lot of articles on him but that debate was what did it for me. I've seen statements made by himself about himself actually agreeing that he is the next Speilberg or Hitchcock and when i saw him say that Avatar will be his LOTR, that was it dude. He conciders his work to be as good as Speilberg or Hitchcock and that is saying he does have "Delusions of Grandeur" as you so brilliantly corrected me :)

He prides himself on doing what "HE" thinks is right and disagrees wholeheartedly with the studios' point of views. To some people, that is a quality that is rarely found but when it is used to produce shit awful movies, it looses it's glory. If he would've stuck by his opinions and in the end made his movies that much better for it, we wouldn't even be talking about him. But when he makes more bombs than a terrorist and still thinks he's above and beyond anyone in the business well... It would sound an awfull lot like Singer sticking by his idea of SR even after it blew chunks saying it's the best version of Superman ever. And we should all quit hanging on to "Sixth sense and Unbreakable" like it was a security blanket, everything he did after that was crap. Granted he does have his own fanbase that likes all of his movies, to me they are all let downs.

And when i see him not only going after Avatar but actually writing the script and directing it saying that he wants to create a religion with it like "Star Wars and the first Matrix" did, it makes me a tad nervous because never has he made something as good as Star wars, LOTR or the Matrix. But in all his "Delusions of Grandeur", he feels his work is along those lines... riiiiight.

So in comparisson to Dragonball, it has better chances of success than any upcoming Shayamalan project however, being a fan of nickelodeon's avatar, i really REALLY hope he falls on his head and gets talent over night to prove me wrong. You never know, he just might pull off a spectacular feat with this one. He just shouldn't try selling the bear's skin without having killed it yet, get what i'm saying?
Shaman - 1/19/2009, 9:07 AM
Talontd: Yet again you show what a complete douche you are. If you like the taste of Shayamalan's genitals that much, maybe you should watch the special features of his movies. Shaman is right on about what an ass Shayamalan is. He is an annoying blowhard and his films suck hard, I don't care what they have grossed in theaters. SM3 is one of the top grossing movie's of all time, but you ask as many people as you want I guarantee 9 of 10 will tell you it was an Epic fail. On top of that, even if you enjoy his terrible, self righteous style, his movie's have no replay value as the plots revolve around some dumbass twist he thought was brilliant. And to hear this guy refer to himself as the next Spielberg or Hitchcock, it makes me wanna vomit. The audacity of someone with such a lack of talent, he doesn't even deserve to make movies. My 3 year old daughter makes more entertaining shyt and leaves it in the toilet, where Shayamalan should be. Talon, to make the assumption that someone hasn't done there research on such a thing without having actually spoken to the man is completely asinine. Do you have access to some interview I haven't been privy to? Have you had lunch with the man? Have you come to this conclusion based on anything other than the comment you read? Didn't think so. So lemme share with you what I feel would be a much more constructive use of your time, Talon, pull your bottom lip over your head and swallow. God knows you'd be performing a great service to your fellow man in doing so.

Damn, that was harsh. Sorry to the rest of you for makin you see that, but it annoys me when people make outstanding negative comments towards other people. So I feel its my place to flip that game on assholes like that. And btw, Talon don't even [frick]ing reply, cause I will turn your ass into a playground.
TheMyth - 1/20/2009, 2:14 AM
The movie looks like a flop which sucks because i would love to see Vegeta in the sequal, which wont get made if this one tanks. If there is a sequal which would suprise me after what i seen they should get "Alex Frost" from DRILLBIT to play VEGETA if there going for the young cast, he can pull it of and looks like a young version of VEGETA.They also should get STEPHEN CHOW to direct it KUNG-FU HUSTLE was pretty much dragonball live action so imagine what he can do with a large budget cha-ching.
SPANISHVEGETA - 1/20/2009, 10:31 AM
Woah Myth, you should change your user name to "HarshMyth" LOL :P

SpanishVegeta, i have to agree with you. Your sequel would kick ass!
Shaman - 1/20/2009, 12:43 PM
lol sorry Shaman, it just chaps my ass to see someone pull crap like that, especially concerning people on this site that I have come to realize truly do know what they are talkin about. I can be civil and hae a debate with someone, but when I feel the line was crossed, I can be the most uncivil mother[frick]er you ever came across. It's a complex I developed as a kid. I just have big problems with people like that, so I give them a more potent taste of their own medicine. I got yer back homey.
TheMyth - 1/20/2009, 1:56 PM
THE MYTH-

LMAO....I can't remember disagreeing with you in the past (perhaps you have me confused with TALON2001?), but I think your mistaken, it would seem you've got SHAMAN'S nuts in YOUR mouth.

I've been posting on this board for a little while, but ghosting for much longer, which is why I was suprised to see SHAMAN make (what seemed to be) such an uninformed comment. I enjoy SHAMAN'S articles and think he is a talented and informed poster who is more than capable of defending himself. That being said, he himself (judging by his reply) didn't seem to be offended by my questions, so why are you??

It's quite obvious you have some daddy issues or you were touched inappropriately as a child judging by your comments and fantasies of turning my ass into a playground (<---still funny tho), however in your juvenile respone you actually made a few good points:

"SM3 is one of the top grossing movie's of all time, but you ask as many people as you want I guarantee 9 of 10 will tell you it was an Epic fail."
-Very true, i too thought this movie blew, yet no matter who you ask the movie was still a "Success". Shayamalan is a SUCCESSFUL director, you may not like his films, but you can't argue that. That is the reason I said I saw nothing wrong with his statement. Peter Jackson had nothing before LOTR.

"On top of that, even if you enjoy his terrible, self righteous style, his movie's have no replay value as the plots revolve around some dumbass twist he thought was brilliant."
-True as well, I have watched each of his movies twice (before twist and after), but your right the only one with any replay value, in my opinion, is Unbreakable....but why is this relevant?

So THEMYTH, why all the hostility? What "line" do you feel i've crossed? I mean seriously, it's not like called his mom a pirate f@cker or anything. If you can intelligently explain yourself and manage a few sentences without refering to Shayamalan's genitals or the things you'd love to do to my ass, i'd love to hear about it. But for now, go sit in the corner, the grown-ups are speaking...

SHAMAN-

I see where your coming from, if i ever read an article of him comparing himself to Speilberg or Hitchcock i would definitely lose some respect for the man too. I'm not his biggest fan but I personally liked:
-The Sixth Sense
-Unbreakable
-The Village
-Signs

I didn't like:
-Lady in the Water (but to be fair, i'm not in the target demographic for that movie (12-18yr) since it was a childrens fairy tale.
-The Happening - This has to have been one of the worst movies i've ever seen. The f-ing TREES??? C'mon!!

He is (and i think we can agree) a very polar director, you either love him or hate him. I'm just excited because, to me; without knowing about his previous statements, i took them as a pretty good director is taking a series i truly enjoy VERY seriously. But hey, thats just my .02

Oh yea, THEMYTH, I hope your first born son is a homosexual. ;-)

Talontd - 1/20/2009, 3:16 PM
Hey SHAMAN,

Just checked and it looks as if Michael Dante DiMartino (the original writer i think) is doing the story and Shayamalan is directing and working on the screenplay so hopefully that gives you a little more hope.

What I am concerned with is Jesse McCartney is listed as a cast member....that makes me nervous!
Talontd - 1/20/2009, 3:20 PM
Okay guys, you're two Gambit fans and shouldn't be fussin' and a fewdin'. So let's shake balls and be friends :))

Tell you the truth Talontd, i wasn't offended at all even though i do get where Myth felt you "seemed" slightly outraged of my comments towards Shyamalan. Could also be misperception. Anyhoo, i loved Avatar and was greatly dissapointed with the village and even more so with signs. And i have to agree with Myth's comment about his movies "all having a twist" that seem to be pure enlightenment but only in his own head. Which also explains why i feel that as a director, he only cares about what "he" thinks is brilliant and couldn't care less of the opinions of others. No one in their right mind working on HAPPENING would've actually feel that the movie would be brilliant. And as strongly opiniated Night is, i'm pretty sure it was a "my way or the highway" kinda deal with his crew. So i was nervous to begin with but then i heard all this selfthrown adorations and last i read of him, he actually stated "I just finished writing the script". Which made me litteraly shit bricks. So hopefully "your" info about Dante is right, and very very wrong about McCartney. And like i said, good point about Jackman by the way, Night could prove us wrong. Am i going to see this movie "high and dry"? You damn right i am.
Shaman - 1/20/2009, 3:53 PM
SHAMAN-

"Okay guys, you're two Gambit fans and shouldn't be fussin' and a fewdin'. So let's shake balls and be friends :)) "

LOL, well said. But by no means was i outraged, i just didn't understand where u were comin from, maybe it came across wrong. I understand when people say they hated The Village, i guess the only reason i liked it is because he really did completely trick me (no small feat) with that one. I saw no clues the first time that it was present day, so i was WOWed when that was revealed. But Signs? Maybe i'm a bit too much of a sci-fi fan, and ok, the water thing was kinda cheesy, and so was the dying wife's premonition (....you know the more i think about it you guys kinda have a point, lol) but i just thought it was cool.

It's just funny, i really was looking forward to your response cuz i genuinely wanted to know where you were getting that from (since i never noticed any weird behavior by him myself), then out comes your fanboy bodyguard defending your honor!....seriously made me laugh out loud at an inappropriate time at work. Too funny bro.

I'll do some research on him tonight, and i'll see if i'll be jumping on the Shayamalan haters bandwagon.

-Cheers.

Talontd - 1/20/2009, 5:26 PM
Good job regurgitating the same shit I threw at you, lol. To be honest you did come off offensive, and thats the only reason I went off. I too shadowed this site for a very long time before actually settling in. The reason I liked it is cause I didn't see people doing things like we just have been. It's not who you said it too, it's the way you put it... its quite insulting. Read it from someones else's perspective and you can tell that it was an attempt at making someone look stupid. It's one thing to correct them, another to start off insulting someone's view. And true, like a jackass, I let my temper get me and posted what I did above. Maybe it was Talon2001, does he have a Superman Avatar? Nonetheless, your still a douche. Unbreakable is the only one of his movie's thats worth anything. However, if you wanna keep bringing it up in every comment...
TheMyth - 1/20/2009, 7:24 PM
Peter Jackson had nothing???

Have you seen Brain Dead? that movie is awesome in it's B-movie kind of way.

Dragonball will be an epic fail, Shyamalan's take on Avatar will be an even bigger fail. And Shyamalan does think he is Hitchcock, that's the reason he has to have a small part in every movie he makes, just like Hitchcock did.
NoobMike - 1/20/2009, 10:10 PM
thnx for the comment shaman, too bad dis disaster is coming out the way it is would love to see the sequal. The only good thing about this movie is Emmy Rossum i would let her have my DRAGONBALL'S anytime lol.

P.S - vote for Alex Frost as VEGETA
and STEPHEN CHOW to DIRECT if by some MIRACLE theres a sequal

SPANISHVEGETA - 1/21/2009, 7:05 AM
Good point Noob, Brain Dead was good.

SpanishVegeta, I'm a bit picky because Rossum doesn't do much for me. And i know nothing about Frost really. Tell you the truth, so far i haven't really seen anyone that would perfectly fit Vegeta's physical and psychological profile.
Shaman - 1/21/2009, 7:45 AM
Alex Frost shows some good evil acting chops in DRILLBIT as a psycho bully u should watch it, with guidance he can pull off a great young vegeta since the dragonball movie is going for a smallville all the hereos should be young feel, and he is pretty ripped, check out the movie you can see what im talking about and the whole rossum thing u gotta find a little something in this movie thats intiguing. They should of got Tony Jaa to choegraph the fighting but thats all in my dreams.

SPANISHVEGETA - 1/21/2009, 8:11 AM
Yep, gotta love Tony! He's grrrrrrrreat!
Shaman - 1/21/2009, 11:29 AM
Holy shyt Tony Jaa is the reason I payed for Muay Thai classes in a city almost 120 miles away. it was 12 weeks just learning the basics, which the foundation of Muay Thai is Muay Boran, and you got to sign a legal statement saying you will never apply it on another person, not even in self defense. It was really cool. By the end of the class you aren't going to be jumping around like Tony, but you have a good idea of the foundation of the art.
TheMyth - 1/21/2009, 12:51 PM
Unfortunitally, the muay thai classes offered around where i live aren't at all the same style that Tony Jaa uses in Ong Bak. They're just the basic ring fighting style. Either way, he'd be a good choreographer for the sequel :))
Shaman - 1/21/2009, 2:36 PM
i dont get it these ppl that make movies like the new street fighter or dragonball should watch movies like ONG BAK,THE PROTECTOR,KUNG-FU HUSTLE and say u know what imagine we back a movie made by these guys we would make millions just for pumping a couple million they have laying around. Instead they pump there millions into the cg and crappy actors and dont focus on what sells these movies the fighting thats y i love dragonball and streetfighter (for shame studios) KUNG-FU HUSTLE'S budget never even came close to the new dragonball movies budget but i bet it's gonna be better and look even more like dragonball then this movie flop .

SPANISHVEGETA - 1/22/2009, 9:40 AM
Hey spanishvegeta have you seen Shaolin Soccer? that had even less budget than Kung fu Hustle and it rules!!!! I greatly recommend it.

And it is quite sad that having the potential of making great movies, Hollywood just plays it safe making huge pieces of crap, like they are doing with Dragon Ball, Street Fighter and The Last Air Bender (apparently they dropped Avatar of the title so that people like SGA don't confuse that movie with James Cameron's one). What they don't realize is that all those creators usually will inject new ideas and concepts to the movie industry enriching it, instead they decide to play it safe and put Goku in high school, have a Prom, whine about not being able to do it, etc.
NoobMike - 1/22/2009, 1:31 PM
I know why they did it but the more i think of it Noob, the more i find it could have been done like the anime anyway. It would have made the same amount of money. Just different crouds would see it.
Shaman - 1/22/2009, 2:12 PM
I know!!, and I strongly believe that they should have done it like the anime, but as I said before they prefer to play it "safe" and when it bombs they just blame it on "cultural differences".
NoobMike - 1/22/2009, 3:17 PM
NoobMike Shaolin Soccer rocks i must of seen it a thousand times it is also directed by stephen chow, and it is true there trying to cater to the high school musical, camp rock and twilight crowd.

They dont care about what they ruin as long as big bucks come into there pockets, im surprised they didnt use Zack Efron as goku or the guy from Twilight as Vegeta LOL hold on thats a good idea i should pitch that to the studio i'll make millions for a stupid idea lol.

anyways i like your taste in movies noob Shaolin Soccer rocked u should check out some Jacky Wu movies he's considered the next jet-li, movies like invisible target,Legendary Assassin, Fatal Move,Twins Mission and Underground Fist these movies will blow your mind and make u wanna slap the makers of dragonball check them out .
SPANISHVEGETA - 1/23/2009, 7:41 AM
where's the effing tail?
superman7 - 1/27/2009, 10:43 AM
1.7 "mystics" didn't create the Dragon Balls, Kami did

2.Where the [frick] is Krillin?

3.Where the [frick] is the tail?

4.Goku's grandfather is supposed to be dead

5.Roshi doesn't look like [frick]ing Roshi

6.Goku should be a little boy not some stupid teenage pretty boy.

7.What the hell is up with "Evolutions"? Not only is it one of the most over used subtitles in movies but it is usually used for sequels. It just makes the movie sound stupid.

8.Piccolo wasn't considered a "God From the Sky" he was the Demon King. Kami would be the "God From the Sky" if anything, but apparently he doesn't exist since the Dragon Balls we created by 7 "Mystics"

9.Once again where the [frick] is Krillin (honestly he was a very important part in the Dragon Ball series so why are you leaving him out!!!)

10.Can't wait to see it haha
