"The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" Season 3 Part 2--What Could Have Been...

Part 2 of my fancast for a third season of the fan-favorite show.

The first part of my fancast for a third season of the beloved show "The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" was met with such great reception, that I decided to round it out to a proper 30-episode order, with a definite finale. You could also call this half of the season the "Marvel Team-Up" season. (For a refresher, here's part one: http://www.comicbookmovie.com/avengers/news/?a=86341)

I said I would deliver, and now I'm going to, so sit back and enjoy part two of:

THE AVENGERS: EARTH'S MIGHTIEST HEROES--Season 3

In terms of our main cast, we still have--

-Brian Bloom as the voice of Captain America/Steve Rogers
-Eric Loomis as the voice of Iron Man/Tony Stark (with Phil LaMarr as the voice of JARVIS)
-Rick D. Wasserman as the voice of Thor
-Wally Wingert as the voice of Yellowjacket/Hank Pym
-Colleen O'Shaughnessey as the voice of the Wasp/Janet Van Dyne
-Fred Tatasciore as the voice of the Hulk (with Gabriel Mann voicing Bruce Banner)
-Chris Cox as the voice of Hawkeye/Clint Barton
-James C. Mathis III as the voice of the Black Panther/T'Challa
-Jennifer Hale as the voice of Ms. Marvel/Carol Danvers
-Peter Jessop as the voice of the Vision

Added in because some executives did some minor meddling is:
-Josh Keaton as the voice of Spider-Man/Peter Parker
*He WAS made a reserve member in his debut episode, remember? At least Craig Kyle and Chris Yost wrote him decently enough. If they'd kept Keaton, that would've been icing on the cake. Besides, he's central in the first two episodes of this season 3 proposal.

New members introduced (as part of the main team or the newly-formed West Coast division) in the first half of this season include:
-Christy Romano as the voice of She-Hulk/Jennifer Walters
-Danielle Nicolet as the voice of Photon/Monica Rambeau
-Tom Kenny as the voice of Machine Man/"Aaron Stack"
-Kate Higgins returning as the Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff
-Mark Hildreth returning as Quicksilver/Pietro Maximoff
-Phil LaMarr voicing Wonder Man/Simon Williams again
-Danica McKellar as the voice of Tigra/Greer Grant Nelson
-Jason Marsden as the voice of Stingray/Walter Newell

Supporting characters in the form of:
-Alex Desert as the voice of Nick Fury
-Kari Wuhrer as the voice of Maria Hill
-Kari Wahlgren as the voice of Jane Foster

Now that we've got that out of the way, let's finish up the season! (I should also note that unlike the first 17 episodes I concocted, these do not rely on the concept art that was bounced around the web when AEMH ended.)

Episode 18: New Kids on the Block
A new team of teenage heroes emerges in the form of the New Warriors, who come to the Avengers (after helping them defeat a rampaging Juggernaut) to get their help in confronting the unstable Darkforce-controlling being Darkling, who is being manipulated in secret by a foe of Nova's: the Sphinx. (The story is based partly on the New Warriors story arc "Forces of Darkness, Forces of Light".)

#Featured Characters
+The New Warriors
-Khary Payton as the voice of Night Thrasher/Dwayne Taylor

Payton is no stranger to voicing comic book characters, and if he could do well with a coastwise character like Kaldur'ahm on Young Justice, he could do fine with a streetwise character like the leader of the Warriors. (Also--no skateboard, too gimmicky. Besides, I plan to introduce Rocket Racer in a fancast for "The Spectacular Spider-Man" Season 3.)

-Daryl Sabara as the voice of Nova/Rich Rider

Sabara's been leaving quite a footprint in the area of voiceover, and playing comic characters isn't new for him. At last check, he voiced Scorn (sidekick to the Wrath) on The Batman, a teenage version of Alex O'Hirn (the Rhino) on Ultimate Spider-Man, and Aaron Reece (the son of Molecule Man) on Avengers Assemble.

-Ashley Johnson as the voice of Firestar/Angelica Jones

Johnson's only voiced one comic character so far, Terra on Teen Titans, and I feel that the scales need to be balanced a bit--if she's played a DC'er, she should play a Marvel-ite at some point, and Firestar would be perfect. Firestar's inclusion here would also serve to further connect AEMH to Wolverine and the X-Men, where she made a few cameo appearances in the Sentinel-dominated future timeline.

-Jack DeSena as the voice of Marvel Boy/Vance Astrovik

You might know DeSena as Sokka in Avatar: The Last Airbender. While he played a wise-guy on that show, here he'd be playing the nice-guy.

-Stephanie Lemelin as the voice of Namorita/"Nita Prentiss"

Another Young Justice cast member gets to voice someone from the Marvelous competition! She was actually the first person I came up with to voice Namor's cousin. Just picture her saying "Imperious Rex!" as she jumps into a fight.

-Wil Wheaton as the voice of Speedball/Robbie Baldwin

Wheaton's proved to be pretty funny in a lot of shows like The Big Bang Theory, so who better to provide the voice of the New Warriors' resident funnyman?

-Masasa Moyo as the voice of Silhouette/Silhouette Chord

Not her first time voicing Marvel characters (see Psylocke and Shanna the She-Devil in X-Men Legends II), I can tell you, and if you notice the coloring of Silhouette's costume, you might see the nod to Moyo's time voicing Bumblebee on Young Justice.

+Freddy Rodriguez as the voice of Darkling/Henrique Gallante

Rodriguez is another who's played mostly DC characters before (Mas Y Menos on Teen Titans, Eduardo Dorado Jr. on Young Justice), so again, it's a matter of balancing the scales. (I do consider fancasting him as Living Lightning for this show.)

Episode 19: Atlantis Attacks
The Avengers team with Captain America's old Invaders teammate (and sometime ally of the Fantastic Four) Namor the Sub-Mariner, who had been overthrown by Attuma and Ghaur (a member of the Deviants), in order to stop an invasion of the mind-controlled armies of Atlantis. Namor is joined by his bride-to-be Lady Dorma and his Lieutenant-General Andromeda.

#Featured Characters
+James Patrick Stuart as the voice of Namor the Sub-Mariner

Stuart's already an established voice of the New Marvel Animated Universe, having been the voice of Avalanche on Wolverine and the X-Men, and after seeing him in an episode of Sliders (the one where they end up on a world populated by psychics), he definitely can channel Namor's more arrogant and aggressive tendencies.

-Rachael MacFarlane as the voice of Lady Dorma

MacFarlane's played haughty and snobbish characters before, with a prime example being Eris on The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. I'd imagine Dorma being portrayed similarly at first, but then becomes a bit more humble as she fights to help regain the throne for her prince. (I also picture her as the Marvel answer to Mera, as that character's currently being portrayed, in the current volume of Aquaman.)

-Laura Bailey as the voice of Andromeda

At the time of AEMH's production, Bailey had voiced Firestar on The Super Hero Squad Show. Also, I had used her husband, fellow VA Travis Willingham, in the first part of this fancast (as Moltar from the Crystar comics and Daimon Hellstrom).

+Enn Reitel as the voice of Attuma

I cast Reitel as Attuma based on his portrayal of Deraegis in the Batman: the Brave and the Bold episode "Sword of the Atom", which sounded very fitting for a brutish usurper of the throne like Attuma is.

-Corey Burton as the voice of Ghaur

You might remember Ghaur as the main antagonist of the original "Atlantis Attacks" story arc from 1989, and he really does look like someone Burton could voice easily. I picture a voice similar to his take on Megatron from Transformers: Animated.

-Dave Wittenberg as the voice of Warlord Krang

Wittenberg's extensive anime resume--bad guys included--definitely qualifies him for this part, as does the next guy....

-Richard Epcar as the voice of Byrrah

Many of you know Epcar's take on the Joker for "Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe" and "Injustice: Gods Among Us", but for someone like Byrrah, think of his characters Black Ghost (from Cyborg 009) or Grel from Robotech.

Episode 20: Forever Yesterday
In a story inspired by the the New Warriors plotline of the same name (and a bit of House of M), the Sphinx and his aide Lady Sphinx journey back in time and alter history so that ancient Egypt conquered the rest of the world. Here, those who would be the Avengers are his royal guard. Kang the Conqueror keeps the New Warriors from being affected by the chronal changes, and with the help of a young mutant girl named Layla Miller, they reawaken the Avengers to stop both Sphinxes.

#Featured Characters
+The New Warriors return

+Jonathan Adams voices Kang again

+Miranda Cosgrove as the voice of Layla Miller

If Layla's ever going to appear in animation anytime soon, Cosgrove has the right voice for everyone's favorite girl who "knows stuff". Miller will reappear in my fancast for Wolverine and the X-Men Season 2.

+Keith David as the voice of the Sphinx/Anath-Na Mut

David's deep voice is just about perfect for this old archnemesis of Nova and the Fantastic Four, and of course David is already an established voice for the NuMAU, having voiced Tombstone (only once) in The Spectacular Spider-Man.

-Masasa Moyo as the voice of Lady Sphinx/Meryet Karim

For voicing this she-Sphinx, I picture something to another Young Justice character Moyo played, the Reach head scientist.

Episode 21: Monsters on the Loose
The Avengers end up chasing Fin Fang Foom all the way to Tokyo, Japan, where they end up butting heads with the country's resident team of superheroes, Big Hero 6. The two groups are going to have to put aside their differences, since Fin Fang Foom returns with monstrous reinforcements [including some Atlas-era creatures and a beast from Marvel's Godzilla series].

#Featured Characters
+Big Hero 6
-Andrew Kishino as the voice of Sunfire/Shiro Yoshida

Kishino is another established NuMAU voice--you might know him as Ned Lee and Kenny Kong on The Spectacular Spider-Man. I was thinking of his take on Storm Shadow from G.I. Joe: Renegades when I cast him as Sunfire, who will also reappear in my Wolverine and the X-Men Season 2 fancast.

-Vyvan Pham as the voice of Go-Go Tomago/Leiko Tanaka

Pham is no stranger to comic characters, having voiced Katana (in her first appearance) on Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and Lady Deathstrike in X-Men: The Official Game.

-Janace Kawaye as the voice of Honey Lemon/Aiko Miyazaki

Kawaye is a VA vet who could play HL in her sleep, and as a bonus, she's a fluent Japanese speaker.

-Jeremy Shada as the voice of Hiro Takachiho

Shada voiced the younger version of Robin on Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and here he'd get to voice another boy wonder--of the boy genius variety, that is.

-Noah Nelson as the voice of Baymax

I was thinking of Nelson's voice for Tohru from Jackie Chan Adventures when casting Baymax. Add in the fact that he also voiced a giant robot (Ratchet in the game based on the 2007 Transformers film) and we've got a winner here.

-Jim Ward as the voice of Red Ronin (with Brenda Song as the voice of Namie)

So yeah, my lineup for Big Hero 6 differs in that it has not one, but two versions of Red Ronin on the team. Having Ward voice the bigger one is easy enough for one reason: he's also an established voice from the NuMAU, since he voiced Professor X and fittingly enough the Sentinels on Wolverine and the X-Men (not to mention Baron Strucker on AEMH). As for what Namie (the cyborg Red Ronin from The Loners) is doing here, this is my take: Namie isn't a cyborg in this continuity, but she is the pilot for the giant Red Ronin robot (with a piloting system similar to the Gundams in "Mobile Fighter G Gundam"). Song was cast as her for reasons similar to my casting Christy Romano as She-Hulk in part one.

+Keone Young as the voice of Fin Fang Foom

Not the first time Young's voiced a dragon (if any of you saw American Dragon: Jake Long, where he played Grandpa Long), and he is also a NuMAU VA, having played Silver Samurai in Wolverine and the X-Men.

*Monster sound effects provided by Frank Welker, Dee Bradley Baker, and Fred Tatasciore.
-Gargantus

-Megataur

-Orrgo

-Tricephalous

-Yetrigar

Episode 22: Master of the World
A villain calling himself the Master of the World announces to the entire globe that unless control of the world is handed to him (citing a supposed threat from the far future), he will trigger a series of natural disasters that will rend the planet asunder. The Avengers join with the Canadian superhero team Alpha Flight to storm the Master's floating base in uppermost North America. (This story is inspired by a subplot from the 2001 Avengers story arc "The Kang Dynasty".)

#Featured Characters
+Alpha Flight
-Michael Shanks as the voice of Guardian/James MacDonald Hudson

Shanks has quite a bit of geek cred thanks to both Stargate SG-1 and Smallville, and best of all, he's Canadian. (Bet you didn't see that coming...)

-Erica Durance as the voice of Vindicator/Heather McNeil-Hudson

I cast Durance for three perfectly good reasons: A) she's Canadian too, B) her tenure as Lois Lane on Smallville gives her a good amount of geek cred, and C) she and Shanks are co-stars on the medical drama Saving Hope. As for the character, I would use this costume for Vindicator because the red one would be a bit too similar to her husband's.

-Jonathan Joss as the voice of Shaman/Michael Twoyoungmen

Joss (whom you may recognize as John Redcorn from King of the Hill) played the wild west DC character 'Pow-Wow' Smith in the Justice League Unlimited episode "The Once and Future Thing, Part 1". Thus, as stated before, the scales must be balanced....Also, Shaman seemed like a good fit for him.

-Bill Faggerbakke returns as Sasquatch/Walter Langkowski

Faggerbakke is also an established voice for the NuMAU, having voiced Morrie Bench (the future Hydro-Man) in the second season of The Spectacular Spider-Man. Voicing a signature member of Alpha Flight should pose no problem for him.

-Wallace Shawn as the voice of Puck/Eugene Judd

Some of you might know him as Rex in Toy Story, some o'you might know him as Vizzini in The Princess Bride, and those of you who are Family Guy fans might know him as Bertram, Stewie's arch-nemesis. I knew that Shawn was a good choice to voice Puck, couple with how he'd be able to nail the guy's bold personality and wise-cracking habit.

-Jennifer Lien as the voice of Snowbird/Narya

I cast Lien as I felt she'd be able to channel some of that 'mystic' quality that she brought to another comic character: Inza, the wife of the DC superhero Doctor Fate (in Superman: The Animated Series).

-Rino Romano and Juliet Landau as the voices of Northstar and Aurora/Jean-Paul and Jeanne-Marie Baubier

For voicing the twins, I knew I'd need two actors who were capable of doing a great French-Canadian accent. Romano and Landau definitely qualify.

+Michael York as the voice of the Master of the World

York's had experience with mostly DC characters (Count Vertigo in Batman: The Animated Series and Ares on Justice League Unlimited), but those two performances are what inspired me to cast him as probably Alpha Flight's most-known adversary.

Episode 23: Showdown Across Two Worlds
The Elder of the Universe known as the Grandmaster makes a wager with the alien conqueror called the Overmind for the fate of a parallel earth. The Grandmaster brings the Avengers in as his champions, while the Overmind controls that earth's resident team of superhumans, the Squadron Supreme. The two teams will fight for the fate of the Squadron's earth, which the Overmind, and his master Null the Living Darkness, intend to conquer.

#Featured Characters
+Efrem Zimbalist Jr. as the voice of the Grandmaster/En Dwi Gast

Picking Zimbalist was no mere accident--he'd be a part of the NuMAU as a veteran of the OLD MAU. In the old MAU, he was the voice of Justin Hammer in the 1994 Iron Man cartoon's second season, and in the 1994 Spider-Man series he voiced Doctor Octopus.

+Michael Ironside as the voice of the Overmind

Ironside's Darkseid is what inspired this casting, and add in the fact that he voiced Colonel Moss on Wolverine and the X-Men.

-Charlie Adler as the voice of Null, the Living Darkness

Adler can do great voices for dark and demonic characters, and plus he's the voice of Mojo on Wolverine and the X-Men, so bonus points for this pick!

+Squadron Supreme (Yes, the casting is a deliberate use of the Justice League VA's plus Adam Baldwin (who lent his voice to JLU).)
-George Newbern as the voice of Hyperion/"Mark Milton" (pastiche of Superman)

*Hyperion fights Captain America.

-Kevin Conroy as the voice of Nighthawk/Kyle Richmond (pastiche of Batman)

*Nighthawk faces Iron Man. Also, come to think of it, this would make Conroy the second former Batman to play Nighthawk, after Adam West on The Super Hero Squad Show.

-Maria Canals-Barrera as the voice of Power Princess/Zarda (pastiche of Wonder Woman)

*Zarda fights Thor.

-Michael Rosenbaum as the voice of the Whizzer/Stanley Stewart (pastiche of the Flash, most likely Barry Allen)

*You guessed it, Whizzer races Quicksilver. Also, it's fitting enough that Rosenbaum has played both the Barry Allen and Wally West versions of the Flash.

-Adam Baldwin as the voice of Dr. Spectrum/Joseph Ledger (pastiche of Green Lantern (Hal Jordan))

*Dr. Spectrum faces Ms. Marvel. Also, fittingly enough, Baldwin voiced Hal Jordan in the Justice League Unlimited episode "The Once and Future Thing, Part 2".

-Phil LaMarr as the voice of Amphibian/"Kingsley Rice" (pastiche of Aquaman)

*Amphibian faces Stingray in an undersea duel. Phil LaMarr's casting also serves as a nod to his voicing Aquaman on Young Justice (and Injustice: Gods Among Us). Of course, in the context of the NuMAU, he was the voice of Gambit and Bolivar Trask on WATXM, and Wonder Man and Jarvis on AEMH.

-Susan Eisenberg as the voice of Arcanna Jones (pastiche of Zatanna)

*Arcanna faces the Scarlet Witch. In casting Eisenberg and Canals as their respective characters, I wanted to do something where it wouldn't be a repeat of Eisenberg voicing Power Princess again (since she played her on The Super Hero Squad Show).

-Carl Lumbly as the voice of Skymax, the Skrullian Skymaster (pastiche of the Martian Manhunter)

*Skymax faces the Vision.

Episode 24: Second Line of Defense
The elder god known as Chthon begins an invasion of Earth's plane, a group of new Avengers members stand in for the main team, which is away in space quelling an attack by Devos the Devastator.

+New Avengers recruits
-Greg Ellis as the voice of the Black Knight/Dane Whitman

We've seen the Black Knight make an appearance before, when Kang the Conqueror first appeared in the show's first season. This time around, he's got a larger role and a voice actor. I thought Greg Ellis would be fine for the character.

-John Rhys-Davies as the voice of Doctor Druid/Dr. Anthony Druid

Rhys-Davies, like Efrem Zimbalist Jr., is also a veteran of the old MAU, where he voiced Thor in both the 1994 Fantastic Four cartoon and the 1996 Incredible Hulk series. I also was thinking of his aristocratic portrayal of Prof. Arturo on Sliders, which I thought would work great for the later depictions of the good Doctor (not the 90's stuff, of course).

-Kim Mai Guest as the voice of Mantis

I used Guest as Mantis previously for my "Batman: The Brave and the Bold--Worlds' Finest" fancast, and felt she would be great for the character. Plus, she's had experience with Marvel characters, if her voicing Kitty Pryde, Crystal, and Lady Deathstrike in three separate Marvel games is any indicator.

-John DiMaggio as the voice of Hercules/"Harry Cleese"

When DiMaggio (who already played Eitri on the show) voiced Aquaman for Batman: TBATB, he described the portrayal as "Hercules underwater". Well, now he gets to play the actual Hercules! I think he would seriously be great with the role if he channeled some of that Aquaman.

-Grey DeLisle as the voice of Sersi

DeLisle is also a NuMAU voice (she played Betty Brant in both this show and The Spectacular Spider-Man), and I think she's got a great amount of variation in her voice that she could play Sersi with a very definitive take. At one point in the episode, she and the Black Knight have a little chat (as a nod to their relationship in the comics), where this little dialogue takes place:
Sersi--...I come from a race of long-lived beings called the Eternals. You know all those myths about gods from Olympus (no offense to Hercules), or the part of Homer's Odyssey with Circe the sorceress...?
Black Knight--...You?
Sersi--Guilty as charged.

-Finola Hughes as the voice of Moondragon/Heather Douglas

For casting one of the stuffiest members of the Avengers, I thought of someone who once played one of the stuffiest members of the X-Men. Hughes played Emma Frost in the never-aired TV pilot for a Generation X television series, and she has voiced a few comic characters before (notably Lara Lor-Van, Superman's mother, on Superman: The Animated Series), including most recently Lady Shiva on Beware the Batman.

-Jerry O'Connell as the voice of Quasar/Wendell Vaughn

O'Connell, to my knowledge, has never voiced a Marvel character before, and with Quasar, I imagine him having a friendly rivalry with Doctor Druid in the old "science vs. sorcery" debate.

+Miguel Ferrer as the voice of Chthon

Ferrer has played a demon once before, in the form of Tarakudo, the main antagonist of season four of Jackie Chan Adventures. Plus, he's also voiced numerous comic characters as well, including Silvermane on The Spectacular Spider-Man. I would imagine his Tarakudo voice would work well for Chthon.

Episode 25: Sound of Thunder
Thor, who has been trying out a human identity in the form of a construction worker, sees a new friend of his, architect Eric Masterson, seriously injured by falling girders during Thor's battle with two villains called Mongoose and Quicksand. Wishing to save his life, Thor appeals to his father Odin for help, and Odin merges Thor and Masterson, turning him into the new God of Thunder. Noting that the merge will last for a set period, Thor guides Eric in the use of his new powers. Ulik appears on Earth and kidnaps Eric's son Kevin at the behest of Loki, who has escaped from his imprisonment. In a rage, Thor seemingly kills Loki, causing Heimdall, who rules in Odin's stead while he undergoes the Odinsleep, to banish him from Asgard, leaving Eric as the God of Thunder. He joins the Avengers, and it is to only Captain America that he reveals his dual-identity.

+Alan Tudyk as the voice of Eric Masterson

+Richard Steven Horvitz as the voice of Mongoose

Horvitz can do great zany and/or insane characters, so for someone like Mongoose, I picture something of the "crazed and animalistic" variety.

+Gwendoline Yeo as the voice of Quicksand

Yeo's already an established NuMAU voice, since she played Domino on WATXM, so voicing Quicksand should pose no problem.

+Graham McTavish returns as Loki
+JB Blanc returns as Heimdall
+Troy Baker voices Ulik again

Episode 26: Sentinel of Liberty
The Red Skull, at the (subtle) behest of Surtur the Fire Demon reemerges with the forces of HYDRA at his command and a new kill squad called the Skeleton Crew, led by his daughter Sin and his new right-hand man Crossbones. He orders an immediate strike on all corners of the globe in a bid for total world conquest, and only the forces of the Avengers and SHIELD can stop him. At the end of the episode, Nick Fury decides to resign from his post as SHIELD director so he and his new team of Secret Warriors (which includes Quake among their number) can make sure threats like the Skull don't return, without the red tape and beauracracy impeding their efforts. He hands leadership of the peacekeeping organization to a reluctant Steve Rogers, who in turn gives the mantle of Captain America to Bucky; he accepts, wishing to atone for his time as the Winter Soldier.

+Steven Blum, Jim Ward, Vanessa Marshall, and Grant Moninger again voice the Red Skull, Baron Von Strucker, Madame HYDRA/Viper and Arnim Zola, respectively.

+Skeleton Crew
-Jennifer Hale as the voice of Sin/Sinthia Schmidt

-Michael Rosenbaum as the voice of Crossbones/Brock Rumlow

+Fenris Twins
-Laura Bailey and Matthew Mercer as the voices of Andrea and Andreas Von Strucker

+SHIELD
-Sabrina Lloyd as the voice of Agent Sharon Carter

Since her former Sliders co-star Kari Wuhrer voices Maria Hill, I thought it would be funny enough to cast Lloyd as Hill's fellow agent (and Cap's longtime love) Sharon Carter. She's also not the only Carter who appears in this season....

-Jon Curry voices Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier again

Episode 27: Thunderstruck
Odin awakens from his slumber and learns from Heimdall of what transpired that resulted in Eric Masterson taking over for Thor. Odin summons him, and inadvertently some of the Avengers, in order to find Thor within Eric's own mindscape and bring him back, lest the enemies of Asgard get wind of his absence and try to make a bid for conquest of the realm. The quest is a success, and Thor returns to the role of Thunder god. For safeguarding his son's essence all this time, Odin has Eitri and the dwarf smiths of Asgard forge Eric a powerful mace, enabling him to transform into the hero known as Thunderstrike.
*Since Alan Tudyk voices Eric Masterson as Thor, he also voices my #5 favorite Marvel hero, Thunderstrike:

Episodes 28-29: Twilight of the Gods, Parts 1-2
Surtur, employing a number of agents that include villains such as Spymaster, Ghost, and Crossbones's Skeleton Crew, manages to gather all the artifacts he needs to restore the Twilight Sword, enabling him to begin Ragnarok. Odin calls Thor to Asgard's defense, and the Avengers, along with allies they've gathered along the way, join him to help stop the Fire Demon once and for all.

+Rick D. Wasserman voices Surtur again

-Matthew Mercer as the voice of Spymaster

I picture Mercer voicing Spymaster (the first one, to be precise) with a bit of a cool-cat kind of voice, something along the lines of say, Robert Wagner in The Pink Panther, or Roger Moore in The Saint.

-Charlie Adler as the voice of Ghost

Adler I picture could use his Cobra Commander voice for Ghost--it'd sound like the current take on Ghost in the recent volume of Thunderbolts/Dark Avengers, but he'd still have the original look from the 80's.

Episode 30: Tomorrow's Mightiest Heroes
In the series finale, A-Next, a team of Avengers from the future made up of the descendants and proteges of former Avengers, comes back to the present to save the team from being wiped out of existence by an Asgardian monstrosity called Mangog, who has been summoned by the villainess they're after: Sylene, the daughter of Loki. Sylene wants to destroy the Avengers for humiliating her father and leaving him banished into Limbo. She has also brought with her from the future a new incarnation of one of the Avengers's deadliest foes: Ultron Extreme.

+A-Next
-Ashley Tisdale as the voice of American Dream/Shannon Carter

I thought of Tisdale the same way I thought of Brenda Song and Christy Romano as I was casting all of this. I think Tisdale could nail the character's no-nonsense personality and mild hero worship (exhibited when she meets who she believes is Steve Rogers, only to find Bucky under the cowl--though she does meet Rogers later on).

-Mae Whitman as the voice of Bluestreak/"Blue" Kelso

When I cast Whitman as Bluestreak, I was thinking of what her Wonder Girl voice (from Young Justice) would sound like if she started talking as fast as John Moschitta Jr.

-Mike Erwin as the voice of Thunderstrike/Kevin Masterson

Erwin's another case of my 'balancing the scales' thing--since he voiced a DC character (Speedy in both Teen Titans and Justice League Unlimited), a Marvel character is a must, and I thought the second Thunderstrike fit the bill nicely.

-Eric Loomis as the voice of Mainframe

Since Loomis already voices Iron Man, it's only fitting enough he voices the cyborg/android with brain patterns based on Tony Stark's.

-Zack Shada as the voice of J2/Zane Yama

Shada's had experience with comic characters on two occasions: the young Scott Free (Mister Miracle) in the Justice League Unlimited episode "The Ties that Bind", and Aqualad in the Batman: BATB episode "Sidekicks Assemble". I think his voice is the right one for the son of the Juggernaut.

-Annasophia Robb as the voice of Spider-Girl/May "Mayday" Parker

I was inspired by her character Dani Phantom (the younger female clone of the titular character) from "Danny Phantom", and felt she'd be able to nail the wit of the wisecracking wall-crawler's little girl.

-Rachel Leigh Cook as the voice of Stinger/Cassandra Lang

I went with Cook based on her portrayal of the Batman Beyond supporting character Chelsea Cunningham. I think she could go further with Stinger, and just think of the surprise moment when says 'hi' to her dad (Scott Lang, the second Ant-Man) in the present.

+Andrea Bowen as the voice of Sylene

I was inspired by Bowen's portrayal of Talia Al Ghul on Batman: BATB (she was, ironically enough, in the same episode with Zack Shada), and if she really poured on the malevolent with Sylene, it would be a memorable performance.

-Frank Welker as the voice of Mangog

For voicing Mangog, I picture Welker using the voice he used for Darkseid in both of the Super Friends incarnations he appeared in.

-Tom Kane as the voice of Ultron Extreme

Same reasoning as Mainframe--since Kane played the present version of Ultron, he could voice a future version as well.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, properly concludes The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Assembled they are strong, forever fight as one:

@FlixMentallo21 - Christopher Yost just released his fan-fiction Season 3 for AEMH's 10th Anniversary. And the first half focuses on the Ragnarok storyline and the second half focuses on Avengers Vs. X-Men. Stories adapted from the comics are Doomwar, Evolutionary War, West Coast Avengers, Annihilation and House of M.https://www.deviantart.com/brodiemarschall/art/Christopher-Yost-s-AEMH-Season-3-854977929

His voice is way too funny and I'd laugh instead of be intimidated. I'll get back to you on the voice I'd use. Again, best work to date I absolutely want to see this

@ager
If you look at Don Francks's portrayal of the guy in that old X-Men episode, I think Shawn would be a step up.

I'll be honest; I'm not too familiar with voice actors n wouldn't be able to say who's right 4 a role short of them actually portraying them physically too, but I do like the ideas and characters u'd have wanted to show up in this series... A lot of potential... Shame Marvel shot themselves in the foot with animation...
