Hawkeye (Clint Barton), also known as Ronin and Goliath (Although he'll just be Hawkeye in the "Hawkeye" movie of course), is a fictional character that appears in many comic books published by Marvel Comics. Hawkeye first appeared in Tales of Suspense #57 in September 1964 and was created by writer Stan 'The Man' Lee and artist Don Heck.
Jensen Ackles as Hawkeye:
Clint Barton was an orphan, and ran away from the orphanage as a pre-teen to join the circus as a carnival performer, where he was trained in the use of the bow and arrow by the Swordsman and Trickshot. When he discovered that his mentors were both criminals he rejected them, leading to a beating by Swordsman which left Barton badly injured and hospitalized. Years later, he saw Iron Man in action, and was inspired and decided to become a costumed hero called Hawkeye. However, there is a misunderstanding on Hawkeye's first outing and he is believed to be a criminal, accused of theft.
On the run, the naive Hawkeye meets the Black Widow, a spy for the Soviet Union, whom he falls in love with. She tricks him into helping her to steal technology developed by Tony Stark, Iron Man's alter ego. After several battles with Iron Man — who defeats the pair on every occasion — the Black Widow is injured and Hawkeye flees with her, deciding to go "straight" from then on. Hawkeye later "applies" for membership in the superhero team the Avengers, by breaking into Avengers Mansion and binding and gagging the team's butler, Edwin Jarvis. Hawkeye is accepted, and together with leader Captain America and mutant siblings Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch become the new team when the original members take a leave of absence.
I think Jensen Ackles is the perfect actor for the part, because he has that asshole attitude that is sorely needed for Hawkeye, plus he looks an exact copy of Clint Barton that don't hurt either. Jensen Ackles is perfect for Hawkeye! Just close your eyes, heck yeah.
Laura Vandervoort as Mockingbird:
Born in San Diego, California, Mockingbird is introduced as a S.H.I.E.L.D. operative. As an espionage agent, S.H.I.E.L.D. sends Bobbi on a mission to contact Ka-Zar. With fiancé Paul Allen, she journeys to the Savage Land. The two were both scientists working on Dr. Wilma Calvin's Project: Gladiator, which developed the serum that turned their colleague, Ted Sallis, into the Man-Thing. With Ka-Zar and Man-Thing, she then battles AIM, which is ultimately revealed as being led by Allen, whom she pretended to love only on S.H.I.E.L.D. orders, in the Florida Everglades. Bobbi later journeys back to the Savage Land. Alongside Ka-Zar, she battles Maa-Gorr and El Tigre. Alongside Shanna, she journeys to the Savage Land once more. Alongside Ka-Zar and Shanna, she battles Grond. Bobbi briefly takes the identity of the Huntress. She battles the renegade S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Rico Santana.
Bobbi later assumes the identity of Mockingbird. As Mockingbird, she teams with Spider-Man to battle renegade S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Carl Delandan. She then meets Hawkeye and helps him against the villainous Crossfire, Silencer, Oddball, and Bombshell. She and Hawkeye grow close and begin a whirlwind romance, which culminates in elopement with him. Afterwards, Mockingbird and Hawkeye return to the Avengers, whom Bobbi meets for the first time. With Hawkeye, Tigra, Wonder Man, and Jim Rhodes as Iron Man, she forms the West Coast Avengers. Alongside the original Iron Man, Hawkeye, and Tigra, she later battles Doctor Demonicus.
Laura Vandervoort is a talented young actress and i think she was born for this Marvel role hand down i can see her kick ass in the Marvel Universe, no other actress comes close, she is Mockingbird.
Michael Fassbender as Trick shot:
Trick Shot began his professional criminal career as an assassin, working as an archer in a traveling circus. There, he met a boy named Clint Barton, who would later become the master archer and Avenger Hawkeye. Although Swordsman had been training the young boy in the art of throwing knives, Swordsman thought the boy might have more value to him as an archer and arranged for Trick Shot, then the star attraction of Carson's Carnival of Traveling Wonders, to take over his training.
After the Swordsman robbed the carnival's paymaster to pay off gambling debts, Clint Barton came upon him counting the money and the Swordsman tried to kill Barton, seriously injuring him before Trick Shot intervened and saved his life. Once Clint recovered, Trick Shot involved him in an extortion scheme, which coincidentally involved the man that loaned money to the Swordsman. Trick Shot killed the man, and Barton shot one of the guards with an arrow — the guard turned out to be Barton's older brother Barney. Shocked by what he had done, Clint rebelled and the two archers shot at each other. The more experienced Trick Shot impaled Barton on a tree and told him that he would come back to kill him.
Hot actor right now in Hollywood, i think Fassbender has the the talent to make Trick shot something special on screen, the deadliest rogue to do battle with Hawkeye. Michael Fassbender is perfect for Trick shot.
Paul Adelstein as Swordsman:
The original Swordsman, Jacques Duquesne, trained Hawkeye after accepting him, but rejecting his brother Barney to a circus, where the two were working as carnival performers alongside the archer called Trick Shot. When Hawkeye accidentally discovered that the Swordsman was stealing money, the two fought, the Swordsman leaving Hawkeye believing him dead.[volume & issue needed] Later, the Swordsman attempted to join the Avengers in order to take advantage of the benefits that go with an Avenger ID and got into a fight with them. After failing in doing so at first, he was accepted as an Avenger as secretly an agent of the Mandarin, who created a pseudo-image of Iron Man to recommend the Swordsman to the Avengers. The Mandarin also fitted the Swordsman's sword with extra powers, such as firing artificial lightning bolts. Soon after joining the Avengers, the Swordsman betrayed the team; although he betrayed the Mandarin in return, he was driven from the team by the Avengers. He went back to being a mercenary and professional criminal for some time. Under Black Widow's leadership, the Swordsman first teamed with the original Power Man and fought the Avengers. With Power Man, he fought Captain America as pawns of the Red Skull. He also participated in the Mandarin's attempt at world conquest. He battled Captain America again, as a member of Batroc's Brigade. He was employed by Egghead, and battled Hawkeye (in his Goliath persona). With Power Man, he joined the supervillain group the Lethal Legion.
Adelstein is again a talented actor, check out "Prison Break" or "Private Practice" to see it and what can i say, the guy screams Swordsman and yes he would own the part.
Colin Farrell as Bulleye:
Bullseye's real name and origins are unknown. He has used the name "Benjamin Poindexter" on several occasions, but there are also instances where his name is given as “Lester.” he has a back story but also it's revealed that some or all of it has been fabricated, probably by Bullseye himself.
While he possesses no superpowers, Bullseye is able to use almost any object as a lethal projectile, be it weapons like shuriken and sai or seemingly harmless objects like playing cards and pencils. He is one of Daredevil's chief foes and serves as an antithesis to the hero by showing what one might become when blessed with keener abilities than most. His aim is uncanny, at a nearly preternatural level.
Bullseye grew up in The Bronx, where he lived with his brother and his abusive father. His brother's main form of recreation was playing with rifles, leading Bullseye to become an expert shot. When he was 10 years old, his brother started a fire in their home in an unsuccessful attempt to kill their father. Shortly thereafter, Bullseye was placed in a foster home, and became a baseball player in high school. Bullseye was an extremely talented pitcher, and was offered a scholarship, but instead opted to enter the minor leagues. After three games, he was called up to play a sold-out Major League game. He had surrendered no hits the entire game, and in the bottom of the ninth with two outs, he became bored and requested the coach pull him from the game. The coach refused, and insisted that he finish the game. The opposing team's batter mocked him, accusing him of cowardice. Bullseye threw the ball at his head, killing him. As the ball struck, he said only one word: "Bullseye". He was barred from professional baseball and convicted of manslaughter.
No brainer here, Farrell was the best thing in the "Daredevil" movie and the perfect Bullseye! He's funny, he's a great actor and he's got the attitude too, he's proved he owns Bullseye. Of course Marvel will have to do a deal with Fox for the character, i'm sure they can work something out! ; )
Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow:
The Black Widow's first appearances were as a recurring, non-costumed, Soviet-spy antagonist in the Tales of Suspense feature Iron Man, recruiting a besotted Hawkeye to her cause. Her government later supplied her with her first Black Widow costume and high-tech weaponry, but she eventually defected to the United States after appearing, temporarily brainwashed against the U.S., again'st the Avengers. The Widow later then became a recurring ally of the team before officially becoming its sixteenth member.
Well Scarlett's already cast and i for one am glad of the casting, near perfect for the part just like Robert is for Iron Man. Anyway though, she's in this because she's a big part of Hawkeye's life and for the love triangle thing with him and Mockingbird. Mmmm who wouldn't want a cat fight between Johansson and Vandervoort on the big screen!
Chris Pine as The Black Knight:
Dane Whitman was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts and is best known as the modern-day Black Knight, continuing a legacy that began in medieval England. The first Black Knight, Whitman's ancestor Sir Percy of Scandia, lived during the reign of King Arthur. Percy's murder at the hand of his nemesis Modred began a string of successors, all of them Percy's descendants.
It was revived by Whitman's uncle Nathan Garrett, who became the supervillain Black Knight II. After being mortally wounded during a battle with Iron Man, he escaped to his estate, summoned his nephew to confess his crimes, and asked him to restore honor to their family legacy and atone for Garrett's misdeeds.
Pine is perfect for The Black Knight, not only is he a spitting image of him, he's a great actor. Yeah i know he's the new Captain Kirk and the new Jack Ryan too! But Black Knight's not a massive role, he will only have a cameo in this, just like (i hope) Black Widow only has a cameo in the "Avengers" feature film. Anyway Chris Pine is Dane Whitman, The Black Knight.
Hawkeye movie poster:
Cool picture of Clint here:
Clint as Ronin:
LEEE777 - Well hope you enjoyed it, i started this a couple of weeks ago and on and off just finished it. Whew glad it's finished and think about it, how cool would a "Hawkeye" movie be. Let's just hope Hawkeye gets a cameo in the "Avengers" movie coming up, because the character deserves it, hey and theres always "Iron Man 2" too! ; )
