FAN CAST: Fantastic Four The Reboot Movie By LEEE777

FAN CAST: Fantastic Four The Reboot Movie By LEEE777

The release of The Fantastic Four #1 (Nov. 1961) was an unexpected success. Stan Lee had felt ready to leave the comics field at the time, but the positive response to Fantastic Four persuaded him to stay on. The title began to receive fan mail, and Lee started printing the letters in a letter column with Issue #3. Also with the third issue, Lee created the hyperbolic slogan "The Greatest Comic Magazine in the World!!" With the following issue, the slogan was changed to "The World's Greatest Comic Magazine!" Check out the reboot movie casting right here...

The Fantastic Four is a superhero team in the Marvel Universe. The group debuted in The Fantastic Four #1 (November 1961), which helped to usher in a new naturalism in the medium. The Fantastic Four was the first superhero team created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist and co-plotter Jack Kirby, who developed a collaborative approach to creating comics with this title that they would use from then on. As the first superhero team title produced by Marvel Comics, it formed a cornerstone of the company's 1960s rise from a small division of a publishing company to a pop-culture conglomerate. The title would go on to showcase the talents of comics creators such as Roy Thomas, John Byrne, Steve Englehart, Walt Simonson, John Buscema, George Perez and Tom DeFalco, and is one of several Marvel titles still in publication since the Silver Age of Comic Books.

The four core individuals traditionally associated with the Fantastic Four, who gained superpowers after exposure to cosmic rays during a scientific mission to outer space, are: Mr. Fantastic (Reed Richards), a scientific genius and the leader of the group, who can stretch his body into incredible lengths and shapes; the Invisible Woman (Susan "Sue" Storm), Reed's wife, who can render herself and others invisible and project powerful force fields; the Human Torch (Johnny Storm), Sue's younger brother, who can generate flames, surround himself with them and fly; and the monstrous Thing (Ben Grimm), their grumpy but benevolent friend, who possesses superhuman strength and endurance due to the nature of his stone-like flesh.

Since the original four's 1961 introduction, the Fantastic Four have been portrayed as a somewhat dysfunctional yet loving family. Breaking convention with other comic-book archetypes of the time, they would squabble and hold grudges both deep and petty, and eschew anonymity or secret identities in favor of celebrity status. The team is also well known for its recurring struggles with characters such as the villainous monarch Doctor Doom, the planet-devouring Galactus, the sea-dwelling prince Namor, the spacefaring Silver Surfer, and the shape-changing alien Skrulls.

Thanks to Wikipedia for all the info.

Well i did want to do a different Reed Richards, and thought of Jon Hamm, well if he didn't get the Green Arrow job, he'd be more enough perfect for this role. Just check his acting alone in "Mad Men" the guy could carry the whole movie by himself if he wanted, but for obvious reasons that you'll see below, i don't know he would work, maybe, maybe not but he sure would own as Mr Fantastic!

Jon Hamm as Mr Fantastic (Reed Richards):

So basically i have to go with the flock and pick, yes Billy Crudup (though he makes an amazing human version of Beast too).

Billy Crudup as Mr Fantastic (Reed Richards):

Reed Richards possesses a mastery of mechanical, aerospace and electrical engineering, chemistry, all levels of physics, and human and alien biology. According to Business Week, Mr. Fantastic is listed as one of the top ten most intelligent men in the Marvel Universe, Richards is considered to be the most intelligent human being, first among a select group which includes Bruce Banner (the Hulk), Henry Philip "Hank" McCoy (the Beast), Hank Pym (Yellowjacket), Tony Stark (Iron Man), T'Challa (the Black Panther), Victor Von Doom (Doctor Doom), Amadeus Cho and Charles Xavier (Professor X). He is the inventor of the spacecraft which was bombarded by cosmic radiation on its maiden voyage, granting the Fantastic Four their powers. Richards gained the ability to stretch his body into any shape he desires.

I do have the many CBM Users here, like TANKGIRL, JOSH, TYLER, DDD, MOVIELAD and many more for the Crudup pick (i think i got brain washed lol), he really does make a good Reed Richards!

January Jones as The Invisible Woman (Susan Storm):

Susan Storm Richards (also known as Invisible Girl and later, Invisible Woman) Her primary power deals with light waves, allowing her to render herself and others invisible. However, she can also project powerful fields of invisible psionic energy which she uses for a variety of offensive and defensive effects. Sue plays a central role in the lives of her brother, her husband and her friend, Ben Grimm.

Yep you guessed it, this is why i can't use Jon Hamm, she actually plays his wife in the "Mad Men" TV series, it might be a little strange having them together as the most famous superhero couple on the big screen too. Well maybe i'm wrong, maybe it would work, they have chemistry, but i do know its a pity because she is darn right near perfect to play Sue, just a pain she's with Hamm on the TV show too lol. Still i really think January and Billy Crudup would make a great couple on screen too, so January Jone for Sue Storm!

By the way, i picked Diane Kruger for Sue Storm in the "Fantastic Four 3" movie i did, but that was for a sequel to replace Alba, and anyways she makes the best Viper (one of Captain America's foes).

Ryan Kwanten as The Human Torch (Johnny Storm):

Like the rest of the Fantastic Four, the Human Torch gained his powers on a spacecraft bombarded by cosmic rays. He can engulf his entire body in flames, is able to fly, can absorb fire harmlessly into his own body, and can control any nearby fire by sheer force of will. "Flame on!", which the Torch customarily shouts when activating his full-body flame effect, has become his catchphrase.

The youngest of the group, he is brash and impetuous when compared to his beautiful and compassionate sister, Susan Storm, his sensible brother-in-law, Mister Fantastic, and the grumbling Thing.

I've always said, if a compete reboot then its got to be Ryan Kwanten (Trueblood) as Johnny Storm, i'd love Chris Evans, but no way would they put him in a complete reboot without his other acting family. No brainer really, Ryan is Human Torch, though i would point out he is more perfect for Wally West but if he didn't get that part then this part is made for him too and he would own it!

Adam Baldwin as The Thing (Ben Grimm):

The Thing (Benjamin Jacob "Ben" Grimm) a founding member of the superhero team known as the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Comics universe. His trademark orange rocky appearance, sense of humor, blue eyes, and his famous battle cry, "It's clobberin' time!" makes him one of comics' most recognizable and popular characters. Super strong and Super funny, Michael Chiklis is the one and only Thing.

I really like Adam as Ben Grimm, talented actor, check out "Firefly" or "Chuck" among'st his other movies. He has the build for Grimm plus the look and he is a fine actor and would be killer for the character of Ben. So this would be a mix of CGI and the actor, a combination of both. In Pirates of the Caribbean, for Davy Jones and his crew, they used actors geared in motion caption suits, and they were actually on set. The CGI was laced in afterwards over their faces and bodies. So this technique could be used for The Thing. That way, you get the portrayal of the character through the actor but the CGI simply enhances his appearance. Many movies should do this.

Of course for just the human part Adam Baldwin would own it as Ben Grimm.

Laura Ramesy as Alicia Masters:

Alicia is introduced in The Fantastic Four, along with her stepfather, the supervillain known as the Puppet Master. She initially aids him out of obedience in his first scheme against the Fantastic Four, though she immediately senses the "gentle" and "sensitive" spirit of the Thing when she first feels his palpably monstrous face. Alicia turns on her stepfather when she realizes that he is mad and power-hungry, and accidentally causes him to fall to his apparent death out of a window. A subsequently published story explains that the Puppet Master had been responsible for her permanent blindness, which was caused by an explosion of radioactive clay during his fight with a rival.

Alicia Masters was a recurring character and the love interest of the Thing, serving as a plot device to cause him to resist changing back to a normal human form, for fear that Alicia would not love him as "plain Ben Grimm." The physically vulnerable Masters was also frequently used as a damsel in distress.

I apologise, i saw someone pick this gem for a pick as Alicia but cannot remember for the life of me, anyway i have seen the girl act and she would be the totally best to fill the shoes of Alicia Masters, seriously with like 5 to 10 castings a day sometimes its hard to keep track of who has done what anymore lol.

Now i have done a few more, mainly villains and of course they cant all be in the same reboot movie but enjoy and you may pick who you'd like as the villain in "Fantastic Four 1," also i think Doctor Doom should be in it, but as a more cameo role in the first movie, rather than being the main villain again.

Mark Strong as Doctor Doom (Victor Von Doom):

Doctor Doom is a polymath scientific genius, depicted constructing numerous devices in order to defeat his foes or gain more power, including a time machine, a device to imbue people with superpowers, and numerous robots; Doom's calculating and strategic nature leads him to use "Doombots," exact mechanical replicas of the real Doctor Doom, for many missions, typically those where he fears defeat. The character also uses his scientific talents to steal and replicate the power of Galactus' heralds such as the Silver Surfer on several occasions as well as the Beyonder.

Well this seems to be a hot favorite now, so why not, he is Sinestro but thats DC so no problem there. I could use my own pick of Doom that i used in the "Fantastic Four 3" casting but i thought it should be different plus i've got another part for that actor to play, anyways Mark Strong is what i kept coming up with and coming back to, so Mark Strong for Doctor Doom!

Annihilus complete CG with the voice over of Dennis Haybert:

Untold millennia ago, the Tyannans, a technologically-advanced semi-humanoid/leonine species of the antimatter universe the Negative Zone, seeded barren worlds with life spores. A freak meteor collision hurled one of their ships into the volcanic planet Arthros, where the crew released their spores before starving to death. Many generations later, one of those spores evolved into a weak insectoid creature. Significantly intelligent due to a mutation, the creature found the Tyannan starship wreckage and used a knowledge transference helmet to master the advanced Tyannan technology. This enhanced his intelligence and strength, creating a "Cosmic Control Rod" and body armaments. Obsessed with survival, the paranoid creature, which came to be known as Annihilus, set out to destroy any other living being he viewed as a possible threat to his existence.

Dennis Haybert was the President in the series 24 and he's got just the voice for yours truly, deep, dark and fantastic for this character (pun intended).

Jackie Earle Haley as Puppet Master (Philip Masters):

Phillip Masters, the man who would become the Puppet Master was born in the small fictional Balkan nation of Transia, in Dragorin. He moved to the United States at the age of eight. He was socially maladjusted and had no friends. His mother died when he was young and he was often picked on, causing him to turn to his puppets as "friends".

After he finished college he went into business with Jacob Reiss. Philip was jealous of Reiss' wealth and of his family and decided to sabotage his workplace, but Reiss caught him in the act and when the two fought Reiss was accidentally killed in an explosion. Reiss' daughter Alicia was caught in the explosion and blinded as a result.

Playing the explosion off as an accident, he started a relationship with and then married Reiss' wife, Marcia, and adopted Alicia. When his wife died it was more than he could bear and he lost his sanity. It was at this time that he first began experimenting with radioactive clay that he was somehow able to use to psionically control specific individuals' bodies. He thought to exploit this talent to the fullest and drew up a plan to take over the world. He didn't get very far with the plan before the Fantastic Four stopped him.

I can thank DDD 100 percent for this one, that guy nailed it on the head for Puppet Master, he's just the right size, he can do bald and he owns all the parts he plays, one being the "Human Target" every week on ABC, check it out! Anyways i can't think of anyone better than this guy, kudos.

Right next pick i am going to still be using the same actor i used in my "Fantastic Four 3" casting because i cannot find anyone more suited for the part than Eugene Levy, but if you havn't seen my old casting check it here just click on the Link = FANTASTIC FOUR 3 (NOT A REBOOT)

Eugene Levy as Mole Man:

The Mole Man was originally Harvey Rupert Elder, an American nuclear engineer and explorer. Elder was socially shunned due to a combination of his abrasive personality and his homely, dwarfish appearance. Furthermore, his fellow explorers ridiculed him for his eccentric, crackpot theories regarding a Hollow Earth. While following the group of explorers called the Monster Hunters, he stumbled upon Monster Island, which was at the time a base of the Deviant Warlord Kro.

When Elder fell into a massive cave leading deep into the underground realm of Subterranea, he decided his theories had finally been vindicated. However, he suffered permanent damage to his eyes when he gazed directly upon a highly reflective deposit of diamonds. Partially blind and apparently secluded from the surface world forever, Elder dubbed himself the Mole Man and began exploring his new home. He eventually became the ruler of the branch of Subterraneans now known as the Moloids, and the ruler of much of Subterranea and the caverns of Monster Isle.

Eugene Levy screams Mole Man!

Okay, the next pick really should be in a "Silver Surfer" movie if anything, but she could have a very short cameo in a "Fantastic Four" movie.

Charlize Theron as Nova (Frankie Rayne):

Frankie Raye worked for the United Nations as an interpreter. She met Johnny Storm and became his girlfriend, despite her fear of fire. Her fear was eventually explained to be the result of a mental block induced by her stepfather, Phineas Horton, after she was accidentally doused with the chemicals which caused the android original Human Torch (his creation) to burst into flame, in an attempt to prevent her using the Torch-like powers granted to her by the accident.

After breaking through the block, she regained her full memory and discovered her previously repressed superhuman powers, and became the third person to take the name the Human Torch. She aided the Fantastic Four for a short time, until she volunteered to become the new herald of Galactus. She took the name "Nova". She claimed to have no compunction about leading him to sentient populated planets and proved that when she led the Devourer of Worlds to the Skrull home-world to consume it.

Yes Theron is perfect for X-mens Domino and is my pick too for that, but as she will be in full make up for both parts (probably), why not for Frankie, she looks great naked and gold, its golden! ; P

STRONG ain't my first choice as DOOM, other was in the FF3 sequel casting, i originally cast STRONG as BLACK MASK but he got that SINESTRO role lol, anyway dude, thats my one and only casting for STRONG now! ; D

And thanx man, really appreciate it!

SOPERMAN @ I do too man lol, check out the FF3 sequel casting i did last year, Link above ^^^^^^^
ARM & HAMMER lol.

And thanks dude!

BLADE @ Thanks man, i did like THING in the last movie, but your are right, he was just too small for the part, it should've had a bit of CG too it too, yeah man!

Not many good 6'9'' actors about, looks like it should be CGI! At least it wont have the problem with the HULK, as he's bricks he'll look more real, which is a big bonus! Hopefully the next HULK will look more real, but i reckon were talking years before it ever comes close. Thanks for your comment man and cheers! ; )

Dmon @ Cheers dude, hey STRONG aint my first pick, i have another in the FF3 casting sequel i did last year, links up top if your interested man!

And looking forward to your first fan-cast man, um i use to put pictures up, i use CBM, in my articles bit dude, did use PICTURE TRAIL etc, but they ain't so good, see the step by step in your members area! As for the bold letters, you have to put this first = < b > (then write something, and when you want to stop the bold put this =) that is it the < B > AND have to connet with the writing to work though dude, hope thats clear enough, and that for your comment bro!! ; )

P.S. < b > that b has to be altogether to work, i cant do it here because it disappears and turns bold 'k.

IronMarvel @ Damn thanx man, really appreciate that, cheers dude! ; )

As for the movie, a couple of years, i reckon maybe next year, or 2012 at the latest! Thanks again bud!!

LEEE777:I wanted to give the last HULK movie the green light, but I couldnt the CGI really didnt do it for me. Unlike the THING the Hulk looks human he's just green and huge. If the THING had've been the right size he'd have been perfect like the SILVER SURFER.
MistressKizuna
MistressKizuna - 2/24/2010, 9:45 PM
Ooo, I like Ryan Kwanten as Johnny. He'd totally rock it, especially since his character on True Blood is pretty much like Johnny Storm without powers.

Can't say I'm a fan of your Dr. Doom choice though. :/
LEEE777
LEEE777 - 2/24/2010, 9:46 PM
BLADE @ Totally agree man! Hopefully one day they (HOLLYWOOD) can make real life things look more real, i don't think it'll be 100% right though ever!

ANIL @ Check out Mad Men, great actress, an i cast Diane Kruger in the last sequel one, so didn't wanna repeat myself too much, still kept the Mole Man pick though lol.

Could do VALERIA, who would you pick man?

As for FRANKLIN, bit early for him init, especially if they do another origin (Hope not though, we just need flashbacks). Hey how about a baby from FRANKLIN at the end of the movie?! ; P

Thanks again bud!
LEEE777
LEEE777 - 2/24/2010, 9:49 PM
MistressKizuna @ Thanks!! Hey why don't anyone like the DOOM pick lol? I reckon he'd be a billion times better than NIP TUCK dude was lol. Thanx again, really appreciate it!

CRISTOPH WATLZ was who i picked in my FF3 sequel casting last year for DOC DOOM from "Basterds," but i think i've found a better role for WALTZ now, rather than Doom.

h8TheAnswer
h8TheAnswer - 2/24/2010, 10:04 PM
Find an alternate for Doom, Strong is too popular. I acknowledge his overwhelming talent, but someone else on God's green Earth can play a generic angry-eyebrowed bad guy behind a mask. The rest are great, Hamm's cool, and Charlize is a personal favorite of mine (namely for catwoman, if it were to happen).
THEPHOENIX
THEPHOENIX - 2/25/2010, 12:27 AM
This is probably your best cast LEEE. I have no problems with anypicks. Absolutely perfect.

Hamm would be my pick for Fantastic as well, but Jones is too perfect for Sue, nad Crudup would make a great Reed as well.

I know what you mean about on screen chemistry in shows. When HAWK cast his Avengers story he picked ACKLES for Cap and Padelicki for Marvel's perrenial sidekick Rick Jones. Mainly because they both fit the part so well. But they also have good on screen chemistry as evidented on Supernatural, however birdboy didn't give them any scenes together, which made me mad.
LEEE777
LEEE777 - 2/25/2010, 12:29 AM
h8TheAnswer @ Cool, thanks man! Hey what about CRISTOPH WALTZ (Basterds) for DOOM? ; p

Cool pic for Catwoman by the way!

THEPHOENIX @ Thanks appreciate that a lot!! Glad you like HAMM and JJ etc, yeah and your right!

Hey i'm really getting into Supernatural lately, this new series is really good, can't get enough, really hope one day they can put it up on the big screen with a big budget! I mean Hollywood does it with other TV shows, hopefully they will with this one! Really glad you liked this one PHOENIX, oh and when are you changing your name to Marvel Girl?? Kudos and thanks again!

DAMM PERFECT CAST @LEEE! YOU'VE OUTDONE
YOURSELF HERE! AND THAT'S SAYING SUMTHIN'!

January is perfect as Sue Storm, sexy yet
in-charge-looking!

Strong was my pick also for Doom!
I don't believe Strong is good for this
part just cuz he's the in-guy right now
to play bad ass baddies...he is a damm
fine actor and 6'2" and statuesque! I
want someone to look like Darth Vader
in that Doom-suit and have a voice like GOD!
Mark is unequivocally THE ONE!
Chris Waltz is too small!

I favor Crudup over Hamm! Don't ask me
exactly why, just do!!! ;D

he's enormous!

They always show him almost as big as THE HULK in the

Oh and as for: "Hey i'm really getting into Supernatural lately, this new series is really good, can't get enough, really hope one day they can put it up on the big screen with a big budget!" - I'm saving that comment to remind you next time you make fun of Ackles or Supernatural, lol! ;D

DDD FOR BEN GRIMM!!!! or EXCUTIONER!!!

DDD @ Lol, hey your photos are all welcome here dude and i was never a lover of Chicklis for the THING part from the start too, but i did like him once he was in there with JOHNNY, he was great, and your right he was wayyyy to small for THE THING, why couldn't FOX just get a bigger actor in a THING suit and him voice over at least lol??

OZY @ Why not STRONG for DOOM?? I wouldn't mind your MADS for DOOM though, makes a better DOOM than SKULL! Still i really like STRONG for DOOM now!

Eugene Levy great for MOLE MAN dude? Danny Devito has already played a supervillain midget that lives underground in "BATMAN RETURNS" as The Penguin, don't think many would like to see him do it again man?

Thant for your comment man, hey you should do a HAZE cast, thats a a killer game!
