I am really looking forward to this movie. I love these apocalyptic films, especially when it's of the biblical nature. This movie is sure to be a visual feast! I've never read any of IDW's Legion: Prophets comic books but I think I'll be picking some up when I see this movie. I love the name of the diner where all of this begins.....Paradise Falls.

Check out the montage I put together....

Plot
After God loses faith in humanity, the archangel Michael (Paul Bettany) is the only one standing between mankind and the apocalypse. This time using angels as the act of Biblical judgment, God's wrath descends on Earth to exterminate the world's population. In a desperate, last-chance gambit, Michael leads a group of strangers to a small New Mexico diner to protect a young waitress who may be pregnant with Christ in his second coming.

Paul Bettany as Michael, the archangel and leader of the human fighters
Tyrese Gibson as Kyle Williams

Adrianne Palicki as Charlie, a waitress, whose child is mankind's only hope of survival
Lucas Black as Jeep Hanson, Bob's son and Charlie's boyfriend
Kate Walsh as Sandra Anderson

Jon Tenney as Mr. Anderson, husband of Sandra

Legion is the Sony/Screen Gems feature coming in January 2010 and featuring an all-out war between Heaven and Earth. Legion: Prophets, a weekly, 4-part series, introduces us to the "Prophets"-ordinary people who have yet to understand the powers they possess and their very special role in the apocalyptic events that are about to sweep across the globe two days before Christmas. The series is plotted by the film's director, Scott Stewart, and scripted by Tom Waltz (Silent Hill: Sinner's Reward).

is this movie being planned as a possible franchise for Bettany or is it just a 1 shot movie and that's it?
