Another cancelled show for Joss Whedon proves a valuble asset for Darkhorse Comics, who have made an announcement that it will release a Dollhouse comic book in 2011. Darkhorse went on to say:

"This is something that Joss had gone back and forth on at different times. It started with us doing a small story to be inserted in the 'Dollhouse' season 2 DVD that got the ball rolling, and we will do a one-shot in April and a miniseries after that."

The Series will be will be written by Jeb Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen and could possible see other writers for the show collaborating on future issues.
Jeremy Atkins publically stated:

"We are going to be picking up Dollhouse where it left off on the television show, much like we did with Buffy

Also on its way will be more Whedon titles that will include giving Willow and Spike their own series.

I have loved everything whedon has done but have not watched dollhouse. I hear the first season sucks because fox meddled but by the second season it became a great show.

@Bleed

I'd agree with that assesment, however, i'm one of the VERY few people who really enjoyed the show. Another one bites the dust...

I watched both seasons, and while I did not dislike it certainly dissapointed me. And the fact that I don't like Eliza Dushku doesn't even matter much, it's mostly the show itself that is lacking.

Best thing about the show imo is an actor called Enver Gjokaj. Never heard of him before, but he was really good. At I think two instances his character was implanted with memories and personality of the nervous, nerdy technician Topher, and boy, he was a better Topher than [frick]ing Topher himself! He copied the speech pattern and the body language with a perfection that was almost scary. Anyways, talented actor, hope he gets some good work in the future.

Well, I have some of the Firefly comics, but I don't think I will buy these.

Regular readers know, I have been running a blog to save Dollhouse for Eliza Dushku, who I love.

In an attempt to save Dollhouse, I often handed out fliers to people I came into contact with. I also took photographs of a variety of events that I participated in.

I sought a legal order to enjoin them from preventing me from conducting outreach to save Dollhouse and allowing me to continue to take pictures.
