Years after the Titanomachy, the Titan Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) declares war on humanity. He searches for the Epirus Bow, a legendary weapon created by the war god Ares, which will allow him to free the rest of the Titans from Tartarus and take revenge on the Olympians who brought about their downfall. In accordance with ancient laws, the gods are unable to take a side in the war between Hyperion and humanity. It is left to a peasant named Theseus (Henry Cavill), chosen by Zeus (Luke Evans) and accompanied by the priestess Phaedra (Freida Pinto) and a slave (Stephen Dorff), to protect his homeland and save the gods.

Immortals hits theaters November 11th, later this year!

even in greek armor with fake muscles on it he looks skinny.

Man of Steel is going to suck because of horrible casting

@l0rdleg0las, Dude Cavill is skinnier in Immortals, because that's how Tarsem wanted him to look for that film. His size here has absolutely nothing to do with what he'll look like in MOS. He's been working out for MOS since he's been cast and his work on Immortals was before then so for you to say he's too skinny for Supes based solely on this film is not a good reason to call him a miscast (his acting in the film is another story).

The point is don't jump the gun based solely on how he looks in a film that's already been shot and going through post production. When you finally see him in the suit and he still looks that skinny then that's when you can make the argument that he's too skinny.

However, you should be more worried about his acting chops than anything else, because as far as I'm concerned not everyone who play's Supes is going to have the perfect look, but if he nails it acting wise that should be more important.

So if anything his acting performance in Immortals would be a better argument than how skinny he is that film. So wait until the reviews come in or see the film for yourself, because assuming someone is a miscast based on his physique in a previous film is not a good reason.

I find it funny when people say that a film will suck based solely on the fact that it wasn't casted the way they wanted it. I mean it's one thing if they decided to cast Will Smith or someone who doesn't bare any resemblance to the character at all as Superman. But the cast isn't that outrageous.

Kevin Costner questionable, Amy Adams age wise and even look wise is debatable, but she is a very accomplished actress with good range. Diane Lane age wise debatable, but is also a good actress,Shannon is a very good actor and will play a great villain for this film. Crowe maybe a dick, but he's an accomplished actor who's had some really good performances in his career, Julia Ormond look/age debatable, but is a decent actress too.

A lot of this cast is filled with accomplished actors and actresses who may not fit everyone's dream cast for this reboot, but are not exactly weak choices either. Cavill is a decent actor, but he hasn't done anything that's really made him stick out until now so this is his big chance. If Immortals sucks because of him that's saying something, but in general the film could suck regardless of how the actors perform. Same thing goes for MOS, if Snyder screws up it'll show, if it's the script it will show.

But I barely see films suck based on cast alone, the acting would have to be pretty poor(which I doubt is going to be that big of an issue for MOS).
