Movie Fone has compiled a list of the ten most illegally downloaded films of 2011, which is topped by Universal's
Fast Five. Coming into third place is Marvel Studios'
Thor, directed by Kenneth Branagh and starring Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder. The film, which has grossed nearly $450 million worldwide, has been downloaded illegally online 8.3 million times. For other CBMs that make the list, Zack Snyder's critically panned
Sucker Punch ($89 mil. worldwide) was downloaded 7.2 million times; also,
Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Pt. 2 (the biggest movie of the year, grossing over a billion dollars worldwide) is at the end of the list, with 6 million downloads being made. Below is the full list:
