Yvonne Strahovski Speaks On Her Role In I, FRANKENSTEIN

The Chuck actress talks about playing a British scientist in I, Frankenstein, an adaptation of a graphic novel depicting a modern take on the Franktenstein story.

Speaking with Movie Web, Yvonne Strahovski talks about her upcoming film project I, Frankentstein, based on the graphic novel of the same name. She says that she begins filming in a couple weeks in Australia, and that it'll be a 'modern take' on the original Frankenstein story (Frankenstein is played by The Dark Knight's Aaron Eckhart). Strahovski also comments on the difference between her role in I, Frankenstein and her previous roles in her career, while also talking about the romantic elements in the film. "I'm flying in a couple of weeks to Australia to shoot another movie with Aaron Eckhart, which I'm really excited about called I, Frankenstein. It's going to be sort of an action-drama-romance type movie. I play a scientist, and I think I'm changing up my accent. I'm going to be British in this one, which is nice for a change. I've been an American for so many years now (Laughs). It's kind of a modern take on the original (Frankenstein) story. There will be some romantic elements, I think it's safe to say that much."


I, Frankenstein is set to hit theaters February 22nd, 2013.

Chuck is still good, funny decent series for television nothing else really good on anymore in terms of funny action shows. Can't wait to get some more news about this movie though

You probably wont find a bigger Chuck fan than myself. Over the past five seasons, its been a pleasure seeing Yvonne grow as an actress. Also the show is still good (not season 2 good but still an enjoyable show). Wish every member of the cast solid careers in the future.

Kind of funny. I've watched like... almost every season of Chuck but never even finished Mass Effect 2, but she'll always be Miranda Lawson to me.

@ISeeStupidPeople WOW... you learn something new everyday. I beat Mass Effect 2 multiple times and I never made the connection between Miranda and Yvonne... now I know! I should really check out Chuck, I feel fail for never having seen more than an episode.

Btw... Yvonne is so much prettier than her digitized counterpart!

She's a great actress and very hot. I can't wait to see her in more movies.

It sucks that Chuck is ending, I'm a big fan of the show and I love her character on there. It has a great cast, characters, story, action, comedy, etc.

Like people have said the later seasons aren't as good as the first couple of seasons, but I still love the show. I'm gonna miss it.

CW has better shows than NBC I watch like 3 shows on NBC and when Chuck goes off then 2 Grimm will probably be cancelled and Community was just pulled from cancellation. Since I don't like their flagship shows 30 Rock or Parks and Rec or the reality shows they have I'm almost only watching cable networks.

Oh, no doubt she' far prettier in real life, but her real accent's so much nicer to listen to. I say that as a person that hates accents in general.

Eh... I wouldn't suggest Chuck to anyone. Chuck's (the character himself) a bit whiny at times so it can get a bit annoying. Strahovski and Baldwin are what kept it interesting... for me at least.

Her agent had better be on it! If she does not eventually play the character she voices in Mass Effect 2, If she does not join Seth Green's Joker in portraying who they do in the game - well, theres just no justice!.
