The Elite, a team of super-powered antiheroes, is renowned for killing their enemies. Despite the acclaim and approval the Elite enjoy, Superman knows they are in the wrong, creating more harm than good by their methods. Tensions between them finally culminate in a mass showdown on Jupiter’s moons, when Superman is forced to prove that violence is never a positive.

The below pictures are apparently from the sneak peek at the film included in the bonus features for Justice League: Doom, which hits stores tomorrow. Check them out below:

Starring George Newbern as Superman and Pauley Perretteice as Lois Lane, Superman Vs. The Elite is set to hit DVD, Blu-Ray, On Demmand and Digital Download this summer.

Superman looks like Schwarzenneger, Lois looks Asian, and the Elite just look ridiculous... just an observation

They look good to me, I really like the unique style. My only concern regarding this movie is that I'm afraid it will be another short one, as What's So Funny About Truth, Justice, and American Way? was pretty short, too. (Well, it was only 1 issue!) The story's pretty great, though, so I hope they won't leave any part out in this movie.

The art style is very easy to animate. If they put the effort it could easily have the best animation of any DC film.

Arminies, They make the upper-body much larger to add emphasis to his physical strength. Almost any comic artists does the same, the upper body is rarely in proportion with the lower body. Superman is generally drawn proportionate to make him seem well rounded as his Power-set is very well rounded. These animated movies make his strength his primary power, flight second, & Speed third with everything else following as a kind of backup power. Hence, the large Torso and small legs.

Agreed also. That character design is about as awful as one could imagine. He has the build of a super ape, not a super man. The top half and the bottom half are so out of whack from each other it's comical and I don't believe that was their intent. It's just plain bad. I will not be spending one penny on this.

Here's hoping Disney buys DC next. At least they know proper character design and animation.

At least it's classic Supes, not armour wearing or Ultraman looking Supes...

I'm not liking the art work at all. It is such a contrast to the supposedly dark theme and storyline. This may be the first DC Animated Film that I don't buy. And whatever happened to their Animated shorts? Those are usually very good. I would love to see The Flash, at least, get a cool short.

@ theangrytroll- at least it looks better than scarface Superman in Superman:Doomsday. I would have to say that is the worst ol' Kal El has ever looked.

I would NOT enjoy watching this if this is the style they're going with. it's like they want market to the biggest common denominator by keeping a great story but telling it in an infantile way

I must say, this is a great design though...

This doesn't look neraly as bad as I thought. It's got Doug Mahnke's signature angles and larger than life builds, and his character designs for the most part. I really look forward to this. Great story in the comics!!!

@LCage2814- In a manner of speaking yes. They are chracters that definitely took things to that extreme, however unlike in the Authority, they aren't analogs of other characters like the "Avengers" knockoffs they fought.
