Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter explores the secret life of our greatest President, and the untold story that shaped our nation. Visionary filmmakers Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov (director of Wanted) bring a fresh and visceral voice to the blood-thirsty lore of the vampire, imagining Lincoln as history’s greatest hunter of the undead.

Starring Benjamin Walker, Rufus Sewell, Dominic Cooper and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is set to hit theaters June 22nd, later this year.

Is this the official release? Or the one from yesterday when someone jumped the gun, and this YT user uploaded it on his channel? Haha.

Looks okay, I guess.

I've got to agree. It looks pretty awesome, but the premise is just too [frick]ing stupid. I don't think the general public's really going to embrace this one. Looks good, but FLOP.

Last we heard about Pride & Prejudice & Zombies, Craig Gillespie dropped out. Wouldn't be surprised if the project's dead by now.

HeyVanity@ I agree. Joe Q. Public is never going to buy into this one. It will attract vampire and comic book fans and that is about it. I am a vampire and comic book fan, but the premise is just a little too out there for me, and by that I mean using a revered president to play this kind of role.

Why do movies like this get made and people expect them to make a profit. If it was strictly a Abraham Lincoln movie with a name actor the general public may be interested. But you have Abraham Lincoln fighting vampires? People will laugh at the thought and not take it serious. I know i did. Can't wait for The Asylum to spoof this one.

Looks interesting anywho. I'll wait for video.

Oh, and they're using that sound from Transformers and Avengers...BUHWOWNN!!

But i would have prefered a little bit more realistic take on the action scenes.
I mean Lincoln might be killing vampires yes i a proof that but hell he isnt a goddamn ninja!xD

Take this for example. Its pretty badass.

@Rodimus9

There is a serious Abe Lincoln movie coming out this year with Spielberg directing and Daniel Day-Lewis starring. So the "general" public can get their Honest Abe while we get our Bad ass, axe wielding, parkour master Abe Lincoln. I'm happy with both movies and will gladly watch them both.

Once again, the movie won't do the book justice. The book was a great read. It looks like the movie will make Abe look more like a super hero than a normal person killing vamps. I'll still watch it, but I know I'm gonna be disappointed.
