A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kraken, Perseus (Sam Worthington) --the demigod son of Zeus (Liam Neeson)--is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius. Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity's lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades (Ralph Fiennes) and Poseidon (Danny Huston). The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld. Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades, along with Zeus' godly son, Ares (Edgar Ramirez), switch loyalties and make a deal with Kronos to capture Zeus. The Titans' strength grows stronger as Zeus' remaining godly powers are siphoned, and hell is unleashed on earth. Enlisting the help of the warrior Queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), Poseidon's demigod son, Argenor (Toby Kebbell), and fallen god Hephaestus (Bill Nighy), Perseus bravely embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, overthrow the Titans and save mankind.

Reviews suggest that the film delivers in the action and visual effects, but falls flat story-wise. Will you see Wrath Of The Titans when it comes out tomorrow?

Once again VERY impressive cgi going on here. Ths is an epic scale that i cant help feel is wasted on a mediocre film. Would love to see the difference in budget between this and ff2 as Galactus should have been of a similar look. Obviously not a lava monster but that kind of threat.

Kronos is one of te best boss battles in videogame history in God of War III!

The sequel nobody asked for: Wrath of the Titans!

At least it wasn't "Rise of the Titans". I found the Clash remake was almost un-watchable, yet completely forgettable. Still, because of damned nostalgia for the original Clash, I will at least be forced to rent this sequel, not tricking me into a theater viewing again though, with that shit 3-D (which initial reviews are saying improved zero percent).

@Name - exactly. The effects are amazing, and they look to be the only part of that franchise bringing their A-game to the field.

Is Kronos going to have a voice or is he just going to be a roaring monster in the movie cause I can't take he is the main villain if he has no voice

Exactly. That's probably the most epic video game boss battle I've ever played in my life. If they can get the guys that did this game (SCEA) on a Marvel or a DC game with this level of gameplay, I'd lose the marbles.

This is the third Cosmic Egg God to be potrayed onsceern as a giant dust cloud.
Galactus being the first, in Fantastic Four -Rise of the Silver Surfer.
Krona being the second, in Green Lantern.
Liebesman, by the way, can suck my green, alien, ninja bollocks and choke on 'em.

Hmm...kind of similar to the Kraken in terms of action, eh? I mean, both confront a person that is hung on a chain (Andromeda for the Kraken and Zeus for Kronos), lol. Anyway, that's just a shallow theory; he looks cool, indeed, the CGI seems to be great. Here's to hoping he just won't be such an underused villain as the Kraken was in Clash of the Titans. Sounds like the movie is going to be better than its predecessor (people say it's damn fun), too, so I may catch up with this on the theaters.

Saw it yesterday, and wasn't disappointed !
The story is very simple but it's enough, the action is stellar and so are the CGI, THAT's entertainment (as opposed to the borefest of Mars) !
