New THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY Trailer Classified; Elijah Wood On Returning To Middle-Earth

The second full-length trailer for the first part of Peter Jackson's hotly anticipated Lord Of The Rings prequel has been officially classified. Additionally, Elijah Wood (who reprises his role as Frodo) discusses his "family reunion" during the film's production.

Couple of Hobbit stories here. First up, Elijah Wood (who played Frodo in the Lord Of The Rings trilogy) discusses his reprisal of the character in an interview with Yahoo! Movies. He apparently has a very small role in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (he can be seen briefly in the first trailer), but he very much enjoyed his time on set and seeing familiar faces. "It kind of felt like a family reunion," Wood said. "I think I anticipated it feeling more surreal than it ended up feeling. What struck me is that it just felt like no time had passed, and suddenly we were just doing it again."

In much more interesting news, however, Alberta Film Ratings has officially classified the second theatrical trailer for the film, which is the first part of Peter Jackson's adaptation of The Hobbit novel. No word on when the trailer will debut, but it's been speculated that it'll be attached to The Dark Knight Rises next month (though, with the trailer being classified yesterday, I wouldn't be surprised if it will be released before the end of June). Be sure to check back within a few weeks for the trailer's premiere. For now, here's Alberta Film Ratings' classification (For those who can't read it, the running time for the trailer will be 2 minutes and 24 seconds):

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is set to hit theaters December 14th, later this year; There And Back Again is scheduled to be released December 13th, 2013.

Saw this yesterday on Yahoo! I'm not a Grand Master Wizard Sorcerer or anything, but my friend is a major geek of these movies, I'm sure he'll drag me to see it. It's funny though how most of the 1st trailer was composed of walking...

Sorry, I had to. Anyways, I've been watching Wilfred, Woody's not bad in it.

Dellamorte, you don't get to decide what this site is "about", sorry chief. That's the owner's job.

And I happen to know that a little funny stuff and even a little sexy time is perfectly ok with him, it keeps the threads fun and exciting for everyone.

Reporting people just brings the comments to the owner's attention, the team that runs the site decides waht they feel is inappropriate or over the line, it does not get people in "trouble" if that is what you think.

Just a little friendly info, knowledge is power :)

My most anticipated film of the year!

" it takes a serious debate and screws it up with nonsensical pics. we arent discussing whose hotter or whatever we talk CBM's and comics not stuff you think is funny. none of those pics has much to do with ANY of our discussions"

Actually, if you consider the childish rants that are thrown out on a lot of these threads, then the pics and funny posts are relative, because they lighten the mood from all the flaming and disrespect that runs rampant on this site now. I have seen many a ridiculous "debate" get toned down by Tea or Gusto's posts. This site would unbearable sometimes without them.
