This movie was overrated. The beginning was great, but once he got to the farm, the movie slowed down to sloth pace. The whole telepathic killer storyline was lame and full of more plot holes than swiss cheese. I love confusing movies, I love time travel movies and sci-fi's and I really wanted to love this movie, but the ending is just so cliche and really doesn't fix any of the films problems.

Looper was one of the top movies this year in my opinion, it's a shame cause I think it deserved more money then it made.

@hulksmash nah bro the dark knight rises and the avengers are overrated movies not looper though.

enjoyed the film but its definitely overrated.

i was actually loving it till the pathetic ending. i even dug the bit at the farm. but the way willis offed the loopers, how the boy's story ended, and how the levitt-willis story was resolved were all either cliche or thoroughly underwhelming. and in a story like this which introduces interesting elements, the resolutions to them are of utmost important.

i understand why some people really love it, but calling it a "masterpiece" is nothing short of crazy talk to me.

@ Maximus101

I Agree. TDKR contradicted itself, and had alot fo plot holes. The Avengers had some plot holes too, but it was target towards "kids".

Looper was just a very unique movie, from story-telling to action sequences. It was well done. I havent bought Avengers, nor plan on buying TDK Trilogy. TDKR kind of killed it for me. i want to buy TAS, but I'd rather save my money and invest in the trilogy if the world doesnt end in 2012. lol

Not simply overrated, but a terrible, terrible movie. The praising critics were apparently paid very well with this one. What a stinker.
