With all this lens flare you'd think J J was directing

Also there's always that rocket effect... I would prefer one poster showing us Supes vs Zod, or a Close-Up of the new Suit but not in shadows like the SDCC one.

“You’ll give the people of Earth an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall; but in time they will join you in the sun, in time you will help them accomplish wonders.”

I've been thinking about that line a lot. I know it's from the comics and all, but what if it's also a clever way to foreshadow the DCU?

Who decided that no one can use lens flare any more? You guys sound like mindless drones repeating each others talking points.

Looking forward to a serious super hero film. I appreciate that most people enjoyed Iron Man 3, but it was just a little too goofy and wacky for my taste.

@cody

Thats a good point. Superman could give other heroes in the universe hope to come out and actually protect the world eventually leading to justice league.

I guess its cool for Superman fans to have all these posters.... that work like teasers poster more or less.

So lets hope the final one is the most epic poster Warner has ever released for their superheroe movies.

A final poster with an epic pose with the big cape in the air and maybe some of the main actors woudl be epic, I think

So, we get two good trailers and a good poster (teaser poster)? Where's the rest of the marketing? Holy shit, posters that show he can fly... Yeah. Not even close to exciting. Wake me up when something interesting and exciting pops up.

I think the Graphic Designer for these posters just discovered the smudge and blur tool on Photoshop and is having a field day with them.

@crossbones

I spy with my little eye a TROLL. Nice try, Man of steel has 5 epic tv spots, 4 epic trailers (5 if you count the comic con), and awesome posters excluding this one.
DeltaActual

Awesome Poster again!

@Crossbones - Unsure if you are kidding or not but as for marketing:

4 Trailers
3 TV Spots
2 Theater Spots
Walmart Store Promos: In-store - Videos on screen // POS stand-ups at the entrance way -- Online - Promo
Twizzler Magazine Ads
Online Interviews with Cast, Directors and Studios
Comic Books - Promo on the back
Magazines - Entertainment Weekly (MOS was the feature on the cover of Summer Movies and IM3 had a little 1 pager), F***, Empire, etc .....
Toy and Book released for sale

I am sure I can go on, but seriously buddy, either you want to get a rise out of people or you are blind of what is around you. Everyone wants to keep comparing the marketing to IM3, which was so over saturated it became annoying. The fact people are going nuts and bitching about the "lack" of what they feel they want to see is stategic by the studio! My anticipation level is sky high!

Most importantly ---> Remember that fans like us, while important, take a back seat to the "movie going everyday person". That is where the studio makes their money. All of these posters we keep seeing will probably not be seen by the general public except for an occasional few. I rather not feed a flame war, but douse it with truth! :-) Great Year for CBMs!

Oh! Forgot the most important point! TV Spots aired during THE NBA PLAYOFFS, which held the highest viewer count! Brilliant display of advertising dollars! ;-)

@A911 - Thank you. I did indeed forget that one. More advertising that people realize. Plus my friends overseas tell me people are getting pumped for this movie. Very cool stuff!

Happy Mother's Day to all the woman who gave birth to us young chaps because without them we'd be nothing. Dedicate this tune to them!
