JURASSIC PARK 4 Confirmed For 2015 Release; Will Be Shot In 3D

It was recently reported that Jurassic Park 4 is targeting a 2015 release after being pushed off the June 2014 schedule, and now a promo poster spotted at Licensing Expo 2013 confirms this. In addition, the fourquel will definitely be shot in 3D instead of just being converted.

A few days ago, it was reported that Universal was planning on releasing Jurassic Park 4 in 2015, after pushing it off the June '14 schedule to rework the script. It was confirmed early on that the long in-development fourquel, which will be directed by Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) from a script originally written by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes), would be released in 3D. Coming Soon is attending the Licensing Expo 2013 this week in Las Vegas, and they spotted a promo poster (which you can see below) confirming that Universal is targeting a 2015 release. We still don't have a specific date, but the original report said that a summer debut is likely. Additionally, Coming Soon confirms (via the Expo book) that Jurassic Park 4 will be shot in 3D, instead of just converting it post-production. Both DO NOT have official release dates!
I suspect Episode 7 might come out in July and JP4 in June but it all depends!

Episode VII will be released towards the end of May, possibly the 22nd, if it follows the pattern of the other films.

Sorry, LordoftheThrones, I don't think Jurassic Park: Chaos is a strong title.

I would call it Jurassic Park: Evolution, if only because Extinction seems to be capping the series, but Extinction works well too.

I love the Jurrasic Park series but I don't think this will be good. The first one is a classic. One of the best movies ever. 2 & 3 really aren't great at all. The problem is how many times can you write where people find this island? It's like King Kong. The first Kong was great but all of its sequels aren't.

I REALLY DO!! This movie will be awesome just on the screenwritters alone (Rise of the Planet of the Apes)! They did a really good job reimagining that franchise and I'm sure they will with this one!

It's ok dude we all have our opinions Jurassic Park: Evolution sounds cool but Extinction seems to final, I thought of Chaos cause I think they should base the movie off of the Chaose Effect toys!

I'd make the "origin story" of the first operational Jurassic Park in Hawaii.

I'd save 'Conquest of Jurassic Park' for the next one, if not 6 or 7.

Take it back to it darker roots and do a great 3D job on it and this movie should make a lot of money. Also, bring back zombie SLJ.

It's not like VII, Avengers 2, and JP 4 are gonna be released on the same day.

Avengers 2 likely early May, dying down by VII's release at the end of May.

JP 4 probably June, maybe mid to late June.

Not holding my breath that it will actually happen. Been a bit of turmoil surrounding this project for the last 5 or 6 months.

I'm kind of surprised they aren't just going to go for a total reboot of the franchise.

Remake a Spielberg film while he's still alive? Doubtful, and foolish.

I would have liked a more faithful adaption of the novel, though.

Also, if they include "chaos" in the title, it should be because it is crucial to the original plot in the novel -- not because of some toys that came out after the movie.

What else is there to cover?, they should just do a Turok or Lost World movie or a new IP. Nevertheless I love Jurassic Park so i'm still looking foward to this even though it shouldn't be getting made in the first place.
