20th Century Fox just updated its upcoming schedule for 2014 and 2015. You can click HERE for the new release date for X-Men: Days Of Future Past, but below, we have new release dates for three more highly anticipated films. First up, the long in-development sequel to Roland Emmerich's Independence Day will be released July 3rd, 2015. Emmerich will return as a director, but no cast members are attached yet. The sequel will open a week before Pirates Of The Caribbean 5 sails into theaters July 10th. Additionally, the video game adaptation Assassin's Creed has been brought down from its May 22nd release date to June 19th, 2015. The film stars Michael Fassbender, and veteran producer Frank Marshall recently came on board. Finally, the sequel Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes has swapped release dates with X-Men: Days Of Future Past, with the former now arriving July 18th, 2014. The Matt Reeves-directed follow-up stars Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Andy Serkis and Keri Russell. Which of these films are you looking forward to?

2015 is going to be a great year at the movies! Since FOX moved up it's release date for DOFP, Marvel should bump up GOTG like a week or 2.

Independance Day was an awful movie, why are they even considering making a sequel?

At least Assassin's Creed has the potential to become a household name not only in games but now in movies. A full on franchise is possible

They waited this long for Independence Day sequel because Will blew up extra big after the 1st movie. They couldn't get him back. I think they're finally making it without him now.

I guarantee that Justice League is NOT coming out in 2015. Man of Steel 2 will probably be out then, and maybe a Flash movie if a miracle occurs and DC/WB get moving on other characters.

Regardless, yeah 2015 is probably going to be the biggest summer for movies in history. I feel like I should start saving up for it now.

2015 is insane.

Does Hollywood know something the doomsday theorists don't? Seriously, why are all these big movies being sandwiched together? Some of the weaker links are to going to get stomped all over. I have a pretty good idea which ones but it'll be interesting to see if all of them can pull in big numbers.

Good thing I pissed in that cup and framed my High School Diploma to get my Substitute license cause It looks like I'll be subbing at the local High Schools and working Grave Yard shifts at my current job to pay for all these damn movies.

Justice League in 2015? Ummm...wishful thinking there. When will they begin production? There's still talk of a Supes sequel before Justice League. Avengers 2 begins production next Spring, yet no talk whatsoever of a script or pre-production for Justice League or Supes 2.

I hope all those movies do come out in 2015...although all of us with kids will be broke by the time Christmas rolls around!
