"Batman - The Dark Knight - Batpod - Motorcycle - Full Scale 1:1 - Working Replica - One of a Kind Item - Only Replica in Existence - Absolutely Stunning Accuracy - All Steel Frame and Tubing

Ladies and Gentlemen, the following Raffle will be one that will never be seen again and will probably never be repeated.

There will be a drawing for this Full Size "Batpod" Replica on July 31st, 2010 in Melbourne Florida when one lucky winner will take this bike home. The tickets are limited to the first 5000 people and after that, they are gone. Get one while you can, and tell a friend!

We have up for sale, a raffle ticket for a full scale 1:1 working replica of the famous "Batpod" ridden by Batman in the Blockbuster film "The Dark Knight" starring Christian Bale and the late Heath Ledger. After purchasing a ticket, you will receive a confirmation email with your personal ticket number. Good Luck!

This motorcycle was completely hand fabricated and scaled from the original bike for superior accuracy and feel.

The frame and all tubing were built from hardened steel and welded together for an unbelievable rendition of this famous vehicle. The covers and arm guards, which are formed with high tensile strength fiberglass, hide the actual engine which is a high output 650cc 4 stroke, water cooled engine with direct port nitrous injection delivering amazing power in a compact shell if it were ever needed. The front and rear tires measure 508 millimeters across and it is outfitted with grappling hooks, grenade launchers, and 50 caliber machine guns for those traffic jams on the freeway. (No... they don't really work... duh!) The pod has never been ridden on the street but has been tested in a controlled environment. This one-off custom would be the perfect addition for the collector who has it all, or for a museum piece that will draw a crowd like nothing else.

Pictures do not do this motorcycle justice and anyone who sees it in person will have to take a closer look. We can almost guarantee a first place finish in a bike or car show. This vehicle could also be used for promotions of all kind. The possibilities are endless with this one and you can only get it right here so if this is something you have been looking for then bid accordingly. Recent photo shoots on this bike will be displayed in several well known motorcycle magazines in the next few months increasing its value even more.

The "Pod" took several months to build including 2 months of intense research and over 1000 manhours of labor to bring about a vehicle like no other on this planet. Please note that this vehicle is not street legal, however, at the winners request it could be made street legal for a nominal fee."

Now the people asking can see it CAN be street legal. ...its so tempting.

There is a reason they don't use tires like that on motorcycles. It is fine for the films but on the street, no thank you. It ain't no fun to wreck a bike.

The guy that died on the set of TDK was a special fx tech, not a stuntman. And he was in the back seat of a Nissan 4x4 that hit a tree. Far as I know, the Batpod wasn't even on the premises at the time.

I live right down the street from this place... seriously.. and i see it everyday when i drive by, they haven't gotten rid of it yet, and no one's won it yet. I got a picture of me with it. I asked the guy if i could sit on it and take it for a ride, but he said "its not as easy as it looks drivin that thing!!"... i talked to him for a good hour in his shop.. He's a young guy, are nice and polite, very proud and happy of his project, he hopes to build more bikes like it, just not exactly like the Movie Bat Pod.... He told me the story about the bike, he just wanted to build something to make his BRAND NEW chopper building company on the map and known.. so he built the first and only WORKING Bat Pod replica... it's so exactly and perfect... Warner Brothers called him up and asked him to not sell the bike (he originally had it on ebay), and also due to the rights with Warner Brothers and Batman... Through contracts and such, he was forced to remove the bike chain so the bike is un-rideable. And he got letters in the mail from Chris Nolan and all that jazz about tha bike... he made a pretty big impact underground.

I think either Discovery Channel or Science Channel set up a bunch of cameras inside the shop one month, rumor has it they made an hour special about the bike and was going to air on tv.

Ive been to MANY local concerts and festivals where the batpod was on display... it sure made a huge impact locally, everyone knows about it....

Recently the shop has been putting the bike in its large window, but they've been covering the window from the public, i guess they're building something new and improved... i sware i saw something that looks like the TRON bike in there recently.....
