Ray Fisher will be making his DC cinematic debut in the Man of Steel follow up, Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. Although he will only play a minor role in Zack Snyder's sequel, Fisher's character Cyborg/ Victor Stone will then be receiving a spin off movie in 2020. EW spoke to the actor recently in the wake up Warner Brothers and DCs upcoming film slate announcement. 'I didn't know the extent to which DC and WB had planned on taking my character," he recalls, 'When I signed on, I just wanted to be part of this world. But that specific in formation, I found out then and there. I didn't think I'd be getting my own stand alone film.' Funnily enough, the actor only found out from producers he was getting his own solo movie a few hours before the line up was publicly released.
In typical fashion, the actor remained hush when pushed for details on his role, which he has wrapped on. He did however confirm that he met Ben Affleck (Batman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman) and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) and Jesse Eissenberg (Lex Luthor) on set. Is their a possibility all these actors gathered for a scene together? The absence of Henry Cavill (Superman) is particulary interesting as Fisher did say 'I met everyone in the Justice League except Henry Cavill and Ezra Miller.' Fisher may not have got to rub shoulders with The Flash and Superman but he did enjoy his 'surreal' experience: ' You get this idea of going to work on a Hollywood set as being really stressful and nerve-wracking. But it blew that stereotype away. If they did have stressful times, it wasn't while I was there.'
