Optimus Prime: The greatest leader for the darkest world.

He is the ultimate leader. The ultimate conqueror. The ultimate father. He is Optimus Prime.

One of the greatest characters in any medial history would have to be Optimus Prime. If we had leaders more with his personality, the world would be in safer hands entirely. He is the pinnacle of all things that define a strong, caring leader. He has the deepest compassion that would've made Abe Lincoln's head spin. All this, and he was just a simple character created for entertainment. Looking farther than just the fiction of the character, I began to evaluate the personality of this fascinating robot.

Everything I have noticed about Transformers was that everything that would happen, Prime always had an answer for. It was as if everyone would run to Prime whenever the Decepticons where running amok. The Decepticons always feared him for what he was, and he always seemed to be that immovable thorn in the side of those evil machines. Whenever Optimus spoke, every one listened, humans and robots alike. His powerful and wise voice could always seem to be heard from miles away, with words so passionate, that no real leader today could compare even in his/her greatest speech.
See, with Prime, not only does he put the speeches of the greatest past, present, and future leaders to shame, but he gives the word "fight" a completely new name. He can take down any amateur Decepticon and give the toughest ones a hell-ride for their money. In the first Transformers, I noticed that Bonecrusher had attacked Prime, and without a second's hesitation, before Bonecrusher could even realize his mistake, his head was instantly ripped off by our own Optimus Prime, with my jaw dropping to the floor.
The only thing that hit me hard in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, was when Optimus died. It was as if everyone else had lost all hope, and had no one to go to or watch over them. At that very moment, it was as if the world had lost its sun. It was as if, at that one moment, the Decepticons had prevailed. I could tell that everyone that had seen this wanted to atleast shed one tear if not more and honestly, if a fictional character can have that effect on people, something is being done right somewhere.
With Optimus Prime being one of my fictional heroes, there is always something about him that just gives that overwhelming sense of power, justice, and a sense of wise and leadership. With Prime, there is always more with to than meets the eye.
