SPOILER WARNING! SPOILER WARNING!

According to unleashthefanboy.com the script states that the film takes place 4 years after Dark of the Moon. There is a new threat among the Autobots; UNICRON, along with other allies to plan an attack on earth.

The opening of the film starts out with a meteor storm, which shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who've seen the last 3 movies. Cut to the scene where a mysterious metal space ball lands towards Stonehenge. Oddly enough the the ball is a spaceship. Vector Prime is the creator of the ship and is known for being the life long guardian of Primus. Which is the only one who can stop the deadly Unicron.

Optimus and the rest of the Autobots team up with Vector Prime to find the location of Primus, leading into Unicron's lethal scheme. Along with GALVATRON, Unicron ambushes a secret Government base located in Colorado. This is very important for two reasons: The Decepticon Corpses are there and it's has a great selection of new Cybertronian- Earth weapons and armor.

To make matters worse, Galvatron ends up demolishing the embassy to end up taking the lifeless Decepticon bodies and downloading their memories, which leads up to making Galvatron possessed by no other than Megatron. Somehow a human character named, Josie, ends up performing some weird surgery on herself that transforms her into some sort of cyborg. Those are the main parts of the story, but there are stand out points.

There seems to be some time travel elements involved, mainly between Optimus and Vector Prime. DINOBOTS are stated to make an appearance during a climatic battle. By the end Unicron finally puts his mark on Earth, transforming it into a mechanical sphere.

Overall this seems interesting nevertheless, be sure to leave your comments below in the usual place.

not sure if real but, it kinda fits the the whole bayformer way of thinking. If i remember right at the end of gen-1 transformers cartoon, cybertron is brought into earth orbit to obsurb a huge solar sun storm. which brings cybertron back to life. But unicron has already been killed at that point and galvatron/megatron has been lost in space or some shit. (it's been awhile) Rodimus prime is incharge of the autobots at some point too. cut out the the whole planet being moved and have a new cybertron built, splash in a little transformers:prime and BAM! istant bayformer movie.

All this Stonehenge & Mt. St Hellen stuff makes it seem far-fetched, but with all of the spoilers we've been getting recently, I wouldn't be surprised for a second if this were all true. Every major plot point from TDKR was revealed almost 6 months before it dropped in theaters. Same with TASM.

Hate the last 2 films while the first one was watchable because of the curiousity factor especially for us who grew up in the 80s

Wait..does it mention what Variety say about Mark Walberg's daughter, who is dating a racecar driver?

It doesn't sound real at all because I got the notion that Bay is taking the franchise in a new direction. A direction that isn't as dumb as the previous ones, especially part 2 (Which is still one of the worst movies I've seen of any type. It just meanders.) This sounds more of the same, and worse off, it brings back Megatron...again. Nope. Fake.

This is possible, but it should be stretched over 2 films. Make the main villian Galvatron and by the end, have it come out that Galvatron is Megatron, reconstrusted by Unicron, who in the cliffhanger is shown as approaching earth.

I won't claim to know anything about Transformers.
I haven't seen the third one, even!
But this sounds kinda cool. Then again, so did the first 2, to me.

"Unicron ambushes a secret Government base located in Colorado."

Umm...

Isn't Unicron supposed to be the size of a large planet?

Then... Why...

Oh yeah, Bayformers.

Move along, nothing to see here...

As much as I enjoyed those silly cartoons from the 80's, they were best left there!

Too much of the concepts from that cartoon made no sense in a live action film. Dinobots for one, what kind of disguise is a Dinosaur? It was pushing it making them have Ravage and Scorpinox to try please these die-hards but really?

Bay and his bunch are best to continue going with their gut and do their own take on the whole concept of Transformers, their version ultimately was more sensible and less cheesy than what we grew up watching as cartoons designed to brainwash us into buying toys. Haters can remain as brainwashed as they wanna be for all the sad good it does them.

@Ceejay- Because when I was a child, I always wanted to see a Transformer with testicles or humping a human leg. Seriously, who cares if the show was used to sell toys? It was still a fun, light-hearted kids show. Which is more than I can say for the trilogy of abominations Bay gave us. I also find it hilarious that you say anybody who doesn't like these movies is a brainwashed fanboy. No, it's called loyalty and being against the bastardization of something tons of kids grew up on.

alekesam - 12/17/2012, 4:28 AM
I call BS. It clashes too much with what's already been said to be in TF4.

Plus, Bay hates the Dinobots so there's that too.

That said...

Unicron? Bring it.
kirklazarus87

So they found the script to the 1986 movie?
alekesam
alekesam - 12/17/2012, 4:39 AM
@CapObvious:

Bastardization is a bit harsh, don't ya think? Especially given that it's established as canon that there are multiple continuities in the Transformers universe, hence the ALigned continuity? The movieverse is one aspect of the franchise and bad missteps aside, the movies have been entertaining and have many nods to the source material.

Now would I like a TF movie along the lines of IDW's MTMTE comic? Hell yea, especially written by the same guy (whose name escapes me at the moment).

But! I like the movie's with equal measure. I'm with Ceejay. There are certain aspects of the franchise that just doesn't work very well in live action. At least there's none of that mass shifting nonsense. That bugged me even as a kid.

Plus, I call foul on people who claim that the movie's humor is immature/infantile when in the original episodes it was worst than that. Unless it's only okay for the cartoon series to be immature/illogical because it's a cartoon, in which case, that's wrong too because I don't believe just because it's a cartoon, it has to be dumb/silly/etc. So if we're applying "standards" to the movies, then the original cartoon should take equal scrutiny.

If this true, I am psyched, I've been waiting for Unicron to show up in these movies. You can't have a complete Transformers live action series(as bad as they are), without Unicron. But what makes me question this, is where Mark Walberg fits into all this, since he is cast as the lead role of the film.

beane2099 - 12/17/2012, 5:04 AM
Doubt this is real. But it sounds like something Bay & co would do. Unicron attacks stone hedge? Sure. And he's after a magic mcguffin.
