Please forgive the off topic-ness of this article, but it really couldn't go un-posted. This 3 minute 48 second short film was put together by Scottish art director Ben 
Craig - who acquired his skills through watching commercial shoots. Believe it or not, he shot the live-action parts of this short film in just one weekend! And then spent two months in post-production.

@ grif -- Do you really think this movie was conceived and created to completion in less than a month? Are you being ironic or something with the Tron remark?

And it's about carrying the great things from the past into the future with us; enjoying unimaginable technology without forgetting or losing appreciation for the things that came before.

When I imagine the mind that finds this boring and/or stupid, I feel...well...bored and stupid...

It would make a great promo spot for a film festival.
