Saturday Oct 3rd I went to the 1st annual Comic-Con in Long Beach...
Here's what I though of it...
So I didn't go the 3 days because of resources... but it was OK since by the middle of the day I had seen it all!
Well lets start from the beggining:
After going to the bank to have money for comics... (at 5 am)
we drove to Long Beach for 2 hours with some car trouble on the way!!
We ate breakfest at Denny's and then parked the car and went on our way we stopped to help a guy in a wheelchair for 3 blocks (See Pics with link on top)
When we got there early it was disappointing to see it so empty...
Well once in I saw a "WANT TO MEET STAN LEE?" sign and I said "Heck Yeah!"... until I was told it was $45 to meet him I realized I'm poor!!!
So instead of a Meet and Greet i got this:
Hahaha anyways, then I spent time taking pictures of people dressed up! (Check link on yop to see pictures)
So after this I met with ComicVine's one and only G-Man and Red L.A.M.P.!!! (Missed you Babs)
and then I went to Mondo Marvel Panel... where there was only Q&A and the only thing that became interesting is that Araña is comming back and hitting the Marvel U big-time... somehow sometime after World War Hulks!
So the day was over!
I have big hopes for the LBCC.. this could actually turn into something big!
Next year if you can, try and go!
