Whats up CBM'ers! Emanus here with some news for you! I'm wanting to share my next project with you; get your feedback. Perhaps, even your support!
Now, you all may or may not have seen the Lex Luthor short I had the pleasure of making with Faze productions, or the "Padded room" photo set up I shared here on CBM. You should. It's Awesome! :) Anyways, I received alot of feedback both positive and negitive. I thank you all for watching, giving feedback and helping those articles hit the front page!
So I'm on my third go. I did the Luthor short. Made a film called "Rise of capone" and started setting my sights on the next attempt. I teamed up with OCCULUS FILMS and started looking through charcters and stories. I started thinking:
"I have this story. Should I do a comic Fanfilm, or tell my own tale? Whats next?"
I've been writing this story for 15 years. I have to say, of course as the writer; that this is on par with most titles as far as content and story. Just 0 fanbase or exposure. I've written this story, inspired by years of comics. I've envisioned this story inspired by years of film. It is dedicated to comic fans and cinema fans, to try and deliver a deep story and character connection; while delivering an amazing sci-fi experience.

So here is the story:
AFTERMATH
CHAPTER 1

Aftermath is a comic book inspired spiritual sci-fi action thriller, with deep character development and a gripping dramatic story.
"Our world is changed by an epidemic. The sudden and public emergence of those who have extraordinary abilities. They are everywhere."
We take this situation, and paint a very real background. How It's treated as a virus. The governments reaction, The medical industry trying to solve the problem. How the people of the world are affect by what is happening. How it would feel to not know who is and is not "Infected"
"Our focus in the beginning, is a man. Michael kruger. He has a deep emotional and personal connection to what is unfolding. At the time of these events he is in a very dark place. This is a story of one mans fall into darkness. A darkness that will forever alter humainty and create a world in desperate need of heroes."

You all might think this is simillar to a certain show that aired, and believe me when Heroes came on T.V., I almost threw out this story. Thankfully heroes went down hill quickly, and was nothing like what I had.
My goal here is to create a pilot episode good enough and submit to a network for possible continuation of the series, and festivals. A far strech again I know, but go hard or go home baby. I would love to make a comic film/show you all are proud of and could follow for years!
