We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will swing into theaters May 2, 2014.

Hold up, does anyone remember the theory where Harry and Norman switched bodies?

We did see Norman on his death bed in the trailer so this isn't shocking news. Also, something must have to happen to suddenly bring Harry back into the picture.

Norman isn't actually dead - he fakes his death in order to lure Harry to Oscorp in order to get him to take responsibility of Oscorp and change the world. He is setting Harry up for the fall and forcing Harry into a position where he'll take the Green Goblin formula. At the end of the film Norman will be revealed to be alive and will take the formula himself to set up the sequel.

Haven't watched any new footage for a while now. I already feel like I know how the film is going to play out. Limiting myself to one trailer per film now, which sometimes is too much depending on what scenes they put in the trailer.

Neither Cap or Spidey are showing too much footage. This is marketing done right IMHO, same was done for The Avengers , Iron Man 3 and Man of Steel before them. You'll just spoil yourself if you watch everything that they have released to promote the films, but that isn't Marvel's or Sony's fault, is it? As it was said, nobody is forcing you to watch these videos.

McNyagano has been able to get his hands on these early screenings because he is secretly Bat-Wing. When you are a part of the Bat-Family I give you perks.

Wait, was I not supposed to say that? Whoops.

Stan Lee narrating is AWESOME! Gotta love the man.Hopefully he'll narrate the game as well like in Shattered Dimensions and a few other games back in the day.

I have a friend who's seen the film and I can tell you now (since they spoiled it already) that Norman dies in the very beginning of the film from a disease that's heretic.
