QUICK HITTING HARD NEWS FROM AROUND THE WEB.

Seth Rogen has teased another excerpt from the Preacher pilot. According to Variety, AMC is very close to giving the green light to the Garth Ennis adaptation. Hopefully, we'll be getting casting rumblings very soon.

According to TV Line, Oliver (Stephen Amell) will soon find out that Laurel (Katie Cassidy) is training with Ted Grant (J.R. Ramirez) and he doesn't like it one bit. Said Amell on the subject---

"The dynamic [between Laura and Oliver this season] has been very adversarial. What [Laura] wants and what [Oliver's] prepared to reciprocate are at odds with one another, and that carries through the fall. [Also] it is Laurel’s decision, it is not Oliver’s [on whether to tell Capt. Lance about Sara]. [But Oliver's] not gonna step on that. He has the ability to disagree without taking matters into his own hands."

Over on The Flash, it seems Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett) is starting to put a few clues together, regarding Iris' (Candice Patton) infatuation with Flash (Grant Gustin) and also Barry's secret torch for Iris. Said Cosnett---

[Iris' infatuation with the red streak] is definitely a point of tension. What’s happening with that, how she’s investigating it, how he reacts to it and how it affects their dynamic is quite a big point of contention."

Candice Patton adds---

"Eddie starts to get the impression that there is more than meets the eye, at least with Barry, and he will confront Iris about that."

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Mark Ruffalo is singing the same, sad song regarding the prospects of a solo Hulk movie from Marvel Studios.

"I don't really know what's happening in the whole Marvel universe. I know [in terms of the] Hulk getting [his own new] movie, [Marvel] went from an "absolutely no" to a "maybe" after Avengers. If all goes according to plan, then maybe one day there will be another Hulk movie."

I'm kind of skeptical about Preacher on AMC but The Walking dead is a good adaptation so I'll give it a shot.

Marvel72 hates Arrow and finds Flash hard to watch, what a surprise. Meanwhile, Agents of SHIELD is his favorite TV program ever. What an anomaly.

Flash, Arrow and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have all been outstanding this season. Gotham seemed interesting, but lost my interest -- I need to catch up on that as well as start Constantine. I'm really looking forward to Preacher and I hope it gets the green light soon. And even though @marvel72 and I don't agree on the CW shows, I'll second his opinion on the HULK movies -- cameos in other movies are fine, but Marvel needs to hurry up and complete the Green Goliath's own movie trilogy!

Preacher should be on HBO or Starz. I don't expect great things from AMC, hopefully the end product is decent at least.

"I don't expect great things from AMC"

Breaking Bad
Mad Men
The Killing
The Walking Dead (seasons 1 and 2 sucked)
Hell on Wheels

In that order.

@thewonderer

where did i say agents of shield is the best show ever? i couldn't even name my favorite tv show ever.however i could name a list of shows that are better than arrow,the flash,gotham,constantine,the walking dead & even agents of shield.

-game of thrones
-true detective
-the leftovers
-fargo
-penny dreadful
-the blacklist

favorite comic book shows that i watch

1st the walking dead
2nd constantine
3rd agents of shield
4th the flash

wait,hold on a second,i've got two shows above marvel's agents of shield.one from image comics & one from dc comics.

but i thought i was marvel bias.

As soon as someone like @marvel72 states their unpopular opinion, all who oppose just have to treat him like he's wrong. Live and let live. I personally like Arrow and The Flash, but they're not nearly as good as some of those shows he listed. I never saw Constantine, dropped TWD after last season, dropped AOS after 5 episodes, and am planning on dropping Gotham if it doesn't get any better. People on this site have a weird obsession with making everyone agree with them.

@GuardianAngel

thank you,i agree with you on the walking dead the first half of the season wasn't great,they spent to long in the prison(1.5 seasons) but soon as they left,the show really picked up again.
