Henry Cavill's Man of Steel will have his hands full with Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. While that film's countdown continues, lets imagine Superman's battle against another exceptional, comic book genius.
This fan-made trailer for an imagined batttle between Henry Cavill's Superman and Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man actually tells a story. A hypothetical story that's probably not too far off from the story Zack Snyder will telll in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Having just seen Superman (Cavill) snap General Zod's (Michael Shannon) neck, Tony Stark decides contermeasures need to be in place to protect the world from the monumental power that Superman has at his disposal. In Batman v Superman, this is most likely an idea that both Batman (Ben Affleck) and Lex (Eisenberg) will share, with the difference being how each billionare goes about developing and enacting their counter measure. While rumors heavily suggest that kryptonite will come into play in Batman v Superman, it's too bad neither Lex or Batman kryptonite-powered Hulkbuster Iron Man suit to slug it out with Supes.
