SPOILERS: ARROW's Season 3 Status Quo Change Will Stick

Major changes to Team Arrow are about to unfold in tonight's season 3 finale. Someone will be [spoiler] and Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim promises the show will not be going back to change anything. Continue on only if you want to find out spoilers for tonight's finale.

If you've made it past the title and teaser, then it's safe to say that Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim has shared that someone on Arrow will die during tonight's Season 3 finale.  To try and figure out who, it's best to look at who we know will be returning for season 4.
  • We know that David Ramsey's Diggle will be returning as he's previously teased that he will be getting a mask and costume for season 4.  
  • We also know that Det. Lance (Paul Blackthorne), a popular pick among fans to take a dirt nap, will in fact be returning.  
  • Colton Hayne's Roy Harper has already made his exit but will be returning as a guest star in future episodes.  
  • Guggenheim has also hinted that the show is looking at ways for Matt Nable's Ra's al Ghul to return next season as well, so that most likely means that he will survive the finale.  
  • Naturally, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) are presumably safe as well.
That would leave Nyssa (Katrina Law), Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson), Thea (Willa Holland) and gasp....Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) are likely targets for tonight's shocking death.  Would Arrow dare to remove such a big fan favorite as Felicity? We'll have to find out during tonight's Season 3 finale, "My Name Is Olive Queen".

I think it's nyssa. I read something on earlier on Twitter from someone on the show I think, some bit of dialogue saying how nyssa looked happy or at peace or something.

Lets assume Ra's dies and Nyssa takes over the League, that would close the League chapter, but onto the character close to Oliver:

-Willa Hollands story has been confirmed to carry into Season 4
-John Barrowman has ben using "#S4" in some social media so lets assume that allows him to live


LET KILL FELICITY BECAUSE she has been (easily) the plague of this season with WAY WAY WAY to much screen time for someone who is barely a plot device much less a character

Which would be sad BUT would also continue the parallels between Maseo and Diggle that were addressed a few episodes ago....

And if they continue then Diggle could be driven to ARGUS (his "League") and become Guardian

Since we see Thea in her Speedy costume from the promo, I'm betting the cry baby will take the fall. We haven't seen Felicity all season, we saw a glimpse of her on the Flash but not on Season 3 of Arrow. The S1/S2 Felicity Smoak hasn't made an appearance in Arrow since the Season 2 finale.

We KNOW THAT eventually Olver ends up with the Black Canary: Laurel.
So they have got to get felicity out of the way eventually. Either that or Lyla, because Mr. Terriffic's wife and child are killed, so Diggle can transform.

Oh and by the way, Oliver trashed the Reverse Flash last night, Barry and Ronnie were distractions. The Arrow takes down the Flash's Nemesis.

Malcom or Thea, if you read Guggenheim's interviews on the finale he says that relationship gets a "definitive ending"
He also said I think there is very much closure to the Malcom story of his he good or bad, so I am leaning he dies to save Thea.

I rarely say these sorts of things, but PLEASE LET IT BE FELICITY. Unless they have plans for her to be with Ray on LoT, JUST KILL HER OFF. She serves no purpose on Arrow besides being a fan favorite that even fans are getting tired of.

It's most likely gonna be a female character to get killed off. Cause as we all know this show has a fetish for axeing off strong female characters and I think I know who it might be. I've read an article of someone getting the axe in the finale and I won't spoil it for anybody though I'd love to.

That's easy to say now, then wait until after the show has aired and say "yep, I knew it!"

So just go ahead and say who it is before the show airs. That way, if you are right, you get to say I told you so. And if you are wrong, oh well. :p
