Bryan Singer Teases Cerebro Construction From X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Set
In case you didn't know, cerebro is Spanish for brain. X-Men director Bryan Singer is up to his old social media tricks. This time, it's a look at the construction of cerebro from the set of X-Men: Apocalypse which is currently filming in Montreal.
X-Men: Apocalypse opens in theaters on May 27, 2016. It is the sequel to 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past. Bryan Singer returns to direct from a script penned by Simon Kinberg. The cast includes James McAvoy as Professor X, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Nicholas Hoult as Beast and Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse. Also joining the cast are Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Kodie Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, Ben Hardy as Archangel, Olivia Munn as Psylocke and Lana Condor as Jubilee.
According to Singer, the film will be set in 1983 and will complete a trilogy begun in X-Men: First Class. Hugh Jackman is also repotredly in negotations to reprise his role as Wolverine. Singer previously confirmed that Apocalypse herald Caliban will appear in the film, though casting of the character has not yet been revealed.
