Henry Cavill Teases WB's Big Plan For The DCEU Beyond BATMAN v SUPERMAN

Henry Cavill says WB has a master plan in place for not just Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, but for the entire DCEU. But just what is this master plan leading up to- Darkseid, Braniac or something else? It's time to take out your speculation caps.

Out promoting Man from U.N.C.L.E., actor Henry Cavill briefly touched on the links from Man of Steel to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.  Cavill stated that Man of Steel is not just the lead in for Dawn of Justice but the entire DCEU.  "There’s a big plan in place at WB for the whole DC franchise. So, all of this stuff ties in. They’re not thinking from movie to movie, they’re thinking from a big tent pole type thing and each story has its own story, which is attached to the major issue. Yeah, there’s a big plan."

Now, this isn't the first time we've heard that each of the DCEU films are leading up to some larger issue or threat that presumably culminates in the Justice League movie. Is it Darkseid and Apokolips? Or is it Brainiac? With much of the mythology and plot centered around Krypton, it's quite possible that Brainiac will be revealed as the evil mastermind behind Zod, Lex Luthor and whatever threats present themselves in Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman and Aquaman.

Very exciting I hope we see Braniac in a Man of Steel 2 solo film. And Darkseid for the Justice League movie. Shazam as the 7th member of the team aswell as John Stewert Green Lantern.

Nothing new here. DC plan is the inverse of Marvel's plan.

Marvel use the solo movies to lead into Avengers movies and set a major villain (Thanos) for the big finale knows as Infinity Wars.

DC use the Justice League beginning to set the solos movies and have some major villains project to the future.

Well, still think Marvel works better, but still hopes DC bring some good stuffs to the table too.

I hope some of these movies use the red skies trope to connect to the DCEU. That would be beyond hilarious.

@Omarvls I think so as well. I think the MCU is getting better, learning from past mistakes. I think its embracing the comic books more and more and becoming A VISUAL LI lVE ACTION COMIC BOOK. The MCU is now having cameos and appearances of other heroes appeaeing in other characters films (falcon in ant man, avengers in Civil war), that its becoming a literal comic book, so many crossovers. So cohesive. The DCEU is going to be this bombastic adventure where every film is like a grand epic journey
