Relive The Most Epic Moments From 2015's Best Anime: ONE PUNCH-MAN
Last year saw loads of great new anime debut in the Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall seasons. However, the hands-down, standout favorite of 2015 has to be the adaptation of ONE and Yuusuke Murata's One-Punch Man from MADHouse. Mumen Rider FTW!
One-Punch Man is currently streaming on Hulu.
Saitama is a hero who only became a hero for fun. After three years of “special” training though, he’s become so strong that he’s practically invincible. In fact, he’s too strong—even his mightiest opponents are taken out with a single punch and it turns out that being devastatingly powerful is actually kind of a bore. With his passion for being a hero lost along with his hair, Saitama continues to effortlessly defeat new enemies every day, but how much longer can he keep it going?
One-Punch Man is a manga series written by ONE with art from Yuusuke Murata that revolves around the titular hero, Saitama and his everyday life as a superhero. In his quest to become strong, Saitama trained to such an extent that he can defeat any enemy with just one punch. The drawback to having such power is that Saitama is now bored beyond tears that he doesn't have a worthy opponent. Director Shingo Natsume (Space Dandy) will be directing the series while Chikashi Kubota (Gurren Lagann, Space Dandy) will design the characters. Makoto Furukawa (Aldnoah.Zero) will voice Saitama in the anime series, while Kaito Ishikawav(Golden TIme, Terraformars) will voice Genos.
