Okay, so the kid is the son of freelance documentary producer and writer Darren Garnick who sort of has his own agenda behind the line of questions but it's still fun to see these politicians become befuddled when faced with questions from someone not even old enough to vote. Well, we got 1 Spider-Man, 1 Mr. Incredible and a bevy of Superman's. It appears that the GOP party is decidedly a DC camp. As for Obama, well apparently his track record shows that he plays both sides. ZING!

Both side are corrupt as F!uck. Most of em probably pick superman cuz they don't know anything about comic books. If I had to choose one from the big two, it would be Huntsman. I bet he knows a thing or two about super heroes.

When all else fails say Superman. Ron Paul would probably be a supervillain that is why he didn't say anything.

#tweeeeenkies3 - Don't worry your not alone. I don't like Romney either. His health care bill in Massachusetts was what Obama modeled his after so yes, Romney is more of a Democrat.

I could see Michelle Bachmann as Ms. Marvel simply because during Civil MM followed Stark kinda like MB would more than likely do with Newt.

Newt Gingrich- Tony Stark/ Iron Man... there's nothing money can't solve.

Jon Huntsman- Batman: "The highly rated and charismatic Republican technocrat is considered by many in Washington as one of most dangerous dark horses in the race, and is one of the few capable of unseating President Obama."

Gary Johnson- Capt. Marvel/ Shazam! : he's the poor man's Superman... "The former Libertarian Republican Governor does not attend church, is pro-choice, anti-big government, pro-immigration, an outspoken critic of the war on drugs and favors legalizing marijuana. He led New Mexico for eight years, during which time the state saw no tax increase, and he vetoed over 750 separate pieces of legislation to keep the government from growing. However, his views on civil liberties, foreign policy and drugs may be difficult for many conservatives to reconcile with. "

Fred Karger- Obsidian: openly gay and always gettin shat on by the other heroes.

Andy Martin- Harvey Two Face: 'The self-professed People’s Attorney General and Internet Powerhouse is famously remembered as the source of the chain mail and online reports questioning the citizenship of President Obama and the claim that he was a Muslim. The 66-year old Martin filed his papers as a candidate for the next presidential election on Feb 8, and was quoted two weeks later saying, “Obama
plays for keeps. He plays rough, and that's the only way to beat him, and I'm the only one that is
tough enough to do that." '

Ron Paul- Dr. Strange: former medical docter (check)

Mitt Romney- The Incredible Hulk: constantly changing his perspective (check)

Rick Perry- Booster Gold: people don't take him seriously and he's always tootin his own horn.

That's my opinion on each republican candidate based mainly on their descriptions here : http://2012.republican-candidates.org/

@JohnTom88 uhhh what is your reasoning behind republican= DC and Democrat= republican? DC was launched by Superman... Superman who is a small town farmer, who grounded himself before the new 52 to get back in touch with humanity and refused to take a free meal and instead worked for food in a small town diner.... Marvel is lead by Iron Man, the Fantastic Four and the Avengers... each of which love to be the center of attention and are constantly going on about hey look what we did... DC has Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman- the big guy standin up for the little guy... Marvel has the Civil War, and the little guy looking out for the little guy while the big guy is answering directly to corporate america..., Marvel= Republican ... DC= Democrat.

@tweeeeenkies3

You are not alone my friend. But I wouldn't call myself a republican. I would call myself conservative libertarian!

Most of the republican establishment are just as part of the leftist machine as the democrats.

Happy conservatism and don't be afraid to speak out bro.

Good God, I forgot about the Spidey - Obama team up. Looks NOTHING like Obama.

Adolescent nerds trying desperately to prove that they 'know what they're talking about' when it comes to politics never ceases to be entertaining.

@TheRealEnrico...HAHA!
Oh good!

I obviously don't like all things republicans stand for. But, I still like it wayyyyyyyyy more than our current mess of a president!
How did he get into a Spider-Man comic? That is beyond stupid.

I am definitely much more of a righty than lefty!
Thats for sure haha!

@LanternStorm Actually, Marvel would be the Democratic equivalent, to DC's more traditionally conformed universe.

Marvel has dealt with Civil and Equal Rights, the inequality of impoverished American communities in comparison to privileged ones, the misuse of the media and government power when in the hands of conservative think-tanks in many more ways than, say, a comic revolving around Superman. Sure, he's an alien/immigrant, but he's the absolute assimilation of a Caucasian, white American. That's no good, universal representation to claim a lesser Republican image.

In Marvel:

The whole idea that the Mutant community, like minorities (back in the day) or, say, gay people, are inferior or a mistake that should be eradicated from the planet.

Sure, there are characters in Marvel that I suspect are Republican or conservative, if for purely fiscal reasons if not social ones: Tony Stark being among them.

Captain America, however, is the epitome of a Democrat and a liberal-thinking mind. In fact, he's probably the most IDEAL Democrat there ever was, one everyone would respect and follow if more people like him actually existed in the real world.

I can think of more gay characters in the Marvel universe, more premier minority superheroes in Marvel than I can in DC.

Just saying.

@tweeeeenkies3 Yep I'm real to a Ron Paul guy but I can not agree with the some total of his foreign policy. His foreign policy is some scary stuff.

That's the box you can put me in.

Funney, I'm a conservative Marvel guy and its seem that alot of Demsasses side with marvel and Repubeis on dc.

I officially hate comics and politics together!

Why? Why are we making either one out to be more democratic or republican than the other?
That is ridiculous!

They are obviously two different comic companies, but both are equal in lefty and righty characters!

We all know X-men was originally related to the civil rights movement and stuff....but, still.
Can we stop?
Oarsis
Oarsis - 12/28/2011, 9:44 PM
@TheRealEnrico....HAHA! I think this whole thing with
Marvel=Democrat/Republican
or
DC=Republican/Democrat is dumb....am I right?
jaycr
jaycr - 12/28/2011, 9:46 PM
When I think of Republicans I think of Lex Luthor or Norman Osborn (both actually got to the White House). Some heroes that I feel as republicans are Ironman, Nick Fury a Superman, Hal Jordan and John Stewart.

Captain America, Spiderman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Kyle Rayner are dems.

The Batman, been the smartest superhero of all time knows that politics are BS and give a damn about both parties, because The Batman knows that politicians are superstitious and cowardly lot.

@tweeeeenkies3 For someone who has gone out of their way to boast their "Righty" political affiliations, you sure are quick to cry foul.

A discussion of this calibre shouldn't be past up or looked over, when dealt with maturity-- especially when this site is so painfully lacking in mature conversation.

@Empress & LanternStorm

You can't really put them on ether side Budd's. Both Marvel and DC mostly lean left. Marvel even says it.

And Tony more republican? That doesn't seem to fit. Read marvel civil war. Not very conservative to sell out civil liberties.

Both marvel and dc have very little characters the resemble conservatism. Maybe Cap or Supes but even they make them swing both ways all over the place.
Oarsis
Oarsis - 12/28/2011, 9:57 PM
@EmpressSkeith...I am not "boasting" my "righty" political affiliations.
I stated that I was, yes.
But, did I once compared Marvel and DC to two different political stand points? No.

So, I suggest you read my comments correctly, before jumping on my back.
