Avengers Vs. X-Men or AvX is a limited series comic book crossover to be published by Marvel Comics beginning in April 2012, that involves the rebirth of the Phoenix Force, the subsequent war between the Avengers (consisting of the main team, the New Avengers, and the Secret Avengers) and the X-Men, and the emergence of a future Age of Ultron, as foreshadowed in Marvel Point One. It will be a 12-issue limited series following Avengers: X-Sanction and X-Men Regenesis story lines.

The event is preceded by Avengers Vs. X-Men #0, which will be published in March 2012. According to Marvel, Avengers Vs. X-Men is the end result of all the threads from the Fear Itself, X-Men: Schism and Avengers: The Children's Crusade stories coming together.

On who would win though, I had to go with Iron Fist. Luke could take it, but Iron Fist could probably take most of his blows as well, when he got a chance to lay one on him. Which probably wouldn't be as much so Iron Fist would probably just wear him down.

seems to me that from a training / life experience perspective? Iron Fist wins this one fairly easily, but seeing as how they're lifelong friends? 'much more going on here, no doubt. Good cover art too.

Marvel has already hinted that Iron Fist will betray the Avengers, and one of the covers implies he does so to protect Hope. I'm assuming it has something to do with the fact that they both have ties to the Phoenix(as also hinted towards on particular covers)

Iron Fist has become a beast ever since Ed Brubaker's run on IMMORTAL IRON FIST. The feats that he's dne since we're badass. Cage is cool and all, but Iron Fist would kick his ass really quick IF he wanted to.

Anyhow, I love this art cover. Deodato is one of the best IMO.
