The Walking Dead

What a whirlwind season finale for Season Two of The Walking Dead. I'll be posting a full-fledged review sometime tomorrow after I let tonight's events marinate but here's some casting news for Season Three revealed after tonight's episode.

On the Talking Dead, Robert Kirkman revealed that Danai Gurira will be portraying Michonne in Season Three of The Walking Dead.

Previously, I posted an article on a rumor that True Blood actress Rutina Wesley had been cast in the infamous role but it looks like it proved to be false as the Treme actress will be looking to slice and dice zombies when the third season of The Walking Dead kicks off this fall.

The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead is an American post-apocalyptic horror television series developed for television by Frank Darabont. It is based on the comic book series, The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard.

The series stars Andrew Lincoln as Sheriff's Deputy Rick Grimes who wakes up after being in a coma to find the world dominated by "walkers", resembling the zombies of George A. Romero's horror movies. He sets out to find his family and other survivors along the way.

The series premiered on October 31, 2010, and is broadcast on the cable television channel AMC in the United States. The first season premiered to wide acclaim and was nominated for several awards, including the Best Television Series Drama at the 68th Golden Globe Awards. Based on its reception, AMC renewed the series for a second season of 13 episodes which premiered on October 16, 2011. Two episodes into the second season, AMC announced that the show would return for a third season.

The first season of The Walking Dead was well received by critics, with a rating of 82 out of a 100 on Metacritic. The season one premiere was watched by over 5.3 million people. The season two premiere was watched by more than 7 million viewers. I'm so [frick]ing tired of hearing you all complain about the spoilers posted on this site. You are visiting a site which features news and spoilers. Get the [frick] over it or GET THE [frick] OUT.

I'm cool knowing that Michonne is going to turn up next season, great news. Not a spoiler. Mentioning in the headline that she will also turn up in tonights episode (I mean Friday's episode) gives away some of the story. Only a couple of mins, but still.

I'm watching it now, so i'm not really pissed, but i'm getting tired of having to avoid the article headlines for however many days because of Walking Dead spoilers on the home page.

@cookfreeordie

Yeah its a site that posted Spoilers to those who want them, but this site would kick off it i posted spoilers on the home page for the Avengers which comes out earlier here than it does America.

They should be contained within the articles, atleast for a few days, out of respect.

Look, I get that side of the argument. I do. I don't even disagree to be honest.

Buuuuut, this has come up time and time again and nothing has changed. "Galactus" has had little to nothing to say about it. Things are apparently not going to be handled differently.

That means your choice, as a visitor of this site, is to get over it or stop coming.

I think its down to the poster just as much as the reader though. Like i said i don't really care cus i was into the last 5 mins when i came on this site, so i had a good idea it was coming.

But when it comes down to talking about the show, which is fine, why the site was made etc surely 'those who know don't need to be told' when it comes to details in the headline?

And to stray from that, awesome episode. Very much looking forward to the next season!

Maybe CBM should put a spoiler section for people who dont mind spoilers. That way we dont have all this whining. Whoever doesnt mind spoilers can just click on that section - makes sense

I pray, pray, pray to GOD Andrea's character becomes cool when they get to the prison like how she is in the comics. [frick] she was annoying, but holy [frick] is Lori like 10000 times more annoying.

I know they won't use it, but holy shit I like Danai Gurira's accent.

hahahahaha keep doing what your doing. its not like the show isn't predictable. Hope they never come back, leaves enough room for the Avengers vs TDKR war.

I usually don't comment on these things but I have to concur w/ Big G. Type in Walking Dead in google and you'll be hit with nothing but Michonne stories. Scoops and spoilers are the reason CBM is #1. If you want a vanilla, cookie-cutter newssite then CBM is not the place for you.

I'm not threating anything, it's an annoyance, yes, avoidable though, main reason i started streaming it instead of waiting 5 days for it to air.

Either way, i do appreciate a 'mind the step' sign where possible.

I don't think I have ever heard Galactus talk like that before lol. Humm. Anywho, it's a great episode/finale.
