Heads Up Marvel, Actress Angie Harmon Wants To Play SHE-HULK....Really, Really Badly

Actress Angie Harmon definitely has the right look for She-Hulk and surprisingly has the passion to match. And I quote, "I would rock that like there is no tomorrow. I would kill that outfit. I’d put these 36Cs on display. Boom."

Former "Law & Order" star Angie Harmon is showing her fan-girl to the world and doesn't care. We have to love her for that. She has the look and has previous experience as a lawyer from Law & Order. Plus, she reportedly knows her She-Hulk history inside and out. If Marvel ever brings Bruce Banner's promiscuous cousin to the big screen it should be a short search for the role .

“I have to be her,” Harmon told EW. “You don’t understand. I have to be her. It’s the best quote ever [in The Avengers] when The Hulk turns around and goes ‘I’m always angry.’ I was like, Ohmygod! I stood up in the theater and literally cheered. I did.”

As for wearing the skin exposing She-Hulk’s costume?

”I would rock that like there is no tomorrow. I would kill that outfit. I’d put these 36Cs on display. Boom,” she boasted.

She's a pretty thing. She'd have to get some more mass though. She's pretty skinny.

Well, I would think it would be some sort of Mo-cap version for her as She Hulk herself. She would be totally cool as the character I think.

If she would have been saying this prior the release of Avengers I would see it as her being honest....but after the film and it's success. I'm surprised she's the only actor or actress wanting to jump on the bandwagon.

She certainly has the dedication and I think she'd be a good choice, the only problem is I don't think she''l fit in the Avengers 2 just out of the blue and the character never seemed strong enough to carry a solo movie so the writers will have to be crafty to incorporate the character into the MCU.

I really want Paula Patton (but that's because I have an unhealthy infatuation with her) but Harmon would be good too.

I could easily see that. and I'm sure Marvel has had many talks about how to diversify their movie superhero universe beyond white males.........and then factor in that Hulk is such a breakout character in "Avengers"? She-Hulk just might be higher on the radar than you'd expect.

I'd give her a chance at this...and hey, not only does the Law and Order gig give her experience in lawyer roles, she's also got prior experience playing comic characters--in season 3 of Batman Beyond, she was the voice of Commissioner Barbara Gordon.

If they make another Hulk film then I think they definitely add Jen Walters to that cast... That's the next big draw to the Hulk universe.

The real question is whether she should be a hot actress painted green, or full CGI towering over everyone like that cat-girl in Avatar. If it's the second, then they can cast any actress of any size.

wde325 - 5/17/2012, 1:39 PM
She`s got the face and acting chops to play Jennifer Walters, but not the body to portray She-Hulk.

I think she should be asking Guillermo Del Toro about it.
