Why did they steal that Iron Man helmet scene from Avengers when he puts the Suit on in mid-air? LOL. I'm sure this won't last, remember this...

Looks like the artist is has taken some liberties with Roger's outfit with Some of the Avengers Film's design looking to be incorperated in.
I actually don't mind it!
Wonder if it's just this artist's own flare or if Roger's suit will be going thru an update soon.

Cool! The Absorbing Man! One of my favorite villains. That's got my interest raised in reading this. Art is very good, especially on the last page, but I can't say "jaw-dropping".

Seconded.

And while the interior art is more flashy, technically the cover artwork is better.

Her costume looks like it would be more at home in DCU.

TheGambitFreak did you um actually read the issue of that comic because it sure as hell is not the example you want to use. It was not an example of a hero adopting another costume at all.

Is Carol Danvers an Asian lesbian now? It sure looks like it by that cover. I have no problem with the rest, but that hair style went out with A Flock of Seagulls.

I will be all over this when it comes out. I cant wait! The art looks better then the other ones posted a few weeks back.

Looks like they changed her hair a little bit compared to the first art that was released.

jaw-dropping are not the words I'd use...average and high school art class I would use to describe that artwork...

This artwork looks pretty good. I cannot wait for this, I like seeing books about super heroines and female heroes. Zatanna, Wonder Woman, Power Girl, Catwoman, Second Waves "World's Finest", and a few others have done a great job redifining the female characters. I like that she looks like she is taking her role more serious, its not her current costume was showing off that much skin, as opposed to her original one.

Does Marvel check this site? So many people complained about her hair. Now, she looks more feminine.

I'm so glad they changed her hair. I'm still not crazy about the new suit though.

I really like the interior art. It is very unique and well done IMO.

@steelo It has to do with the design of her mask.

Oh I got excited and thought DC was going back to naming Captain Marvel, CAPTAIN MARVEL and relaunching.

Bummer.

SolidSnake007 - 5/18/2012, 7:12 PM
That art is fantastic stylistically. However her boobs seem way too big for her. Plus what's up with her hair? Is it gelled or is it just stuck that way from putting on the mask too many times?

I second weapon925.

I don't necessarily dislike it, but it seems very... DC-ish to me.

Art does look great though.

I liked the old duds better, maybe a little heavy on the exposed buttcheeks when artists like frank cho drew her....but I'm entirely pro buttcheeks

Won't be reading this. Tired of seeing heroes taking over other heroes' identities. Great art. Wish the artist would take over the X-Men books lol.
