Attending the LA Times Hero Complex Film Festival, actor Nathan Fillion, who has a legion of loyal fans fielded a number of questions following a screening of Joss Whedon's 2005 film, Serenity. Touching on everything from Ant-Man, to Wonder Woman and Uncharted, here's what Fillion had to say. As reported by

Fans were able to ask questions and it essentially turned into people asking about every project that has had Fillion's name attached to it over the past few years. Someone asked if he wants to play Ant-Man in Edgar Wright's upcoming Marvel film, and he shrugged and said, "did you ever just love Ant-Man? Not me." He had a similar reaction to a question about a role [Steve Trevor] in a potential Wonder Woman movie, but perked up when the topic of the Uncharted movie came up, saying "that would be great, because everyone wants their own Indiana Jones movie." But ultimately, he recognizes that he's not a big enough box office draw to recoup a big budget, quipping, "If I were making that movie, I wouldn't get me to do it. Do I want to be in it? Yes!"
It appears that Fillion has no desire to portray Hank Pym for Marvel Studios or Steve Trevor for Warner Bros. even though his fans would love to see him in such mainstream roles. It's interesting that out of all the roles that he's fancasted for, the one most polarizing, that of Nathan Drake [Uncharted] is the only one that he actually wants. And even he admits that he's probably not right for it. As far as Ant-Man and The Avengers goes, Fillion is just not right for the role, can you honestly see Fillion on screen talking science with Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark and Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner?
