Behind the scenes images of CW's Arrow television drama convey an attention to detail from the production crew and a lead actor that's done his homework.

So far, CW's Green Arrow show has looked decidedly awesome. I'm glad that they eschewed any ties to Smallville and are going for a more serious, real-world tone. October can't get here fast enough but expect more details and footage to emerge during this week's Comic-Con.

Its not as if I've got high hopes for this show. If it turns out to be watchable I'll be happy.

I am so looking forward to this. I heard they're going darker with Queen. More of the tortuted soul than his normally playful personality. WHich makes more sense, I think given a couple of years of this would give him his more carefree attitude.

It's based on a comic run where Green Arrow actually kills people, and the lack of trick arrows leads me to believe that we could be heading down a dark path. He probably won't kill anyone but could definitely cause some serious injury.

It's a tv show on the CW network so expectations are low.
Obviously it's going to be very soap opera in it's execution but perhaps it will have good performances & stories.

This character for tv warrants a more real world depiction than wearing a flashy green suit & trick arrows. Save that stuff or comics & cartoons.
Just wait and give the first episode a look see & hope it has some entertainment value.

They should pair it with Nikita. That show actually isn't to bad, if you don't mind putting up with the occasional unnecessary pop song playing over the last four minutes of the show, corny wb/cw poo poo, Then it's a solid yarn. And i don't care if ARROW is another Smallville. Obviously I have higher hopes, but this looks solid, hands down. Looks like the guy is taking Ollie Queen pretty seriously. Since the dark and gritty is being accepted more and more, lets the first class second string( no pun intended) hero have a stab at the spotlight. Let him Rise!(no homo)
