I'm kinda thorn on this one. I know that Galactus and SilverSurfer joining the big Thanos - Avengers universe would be f*#$ing awesome... but I'm still really hoping to see DareDevil done right.

As much as I want Galactus & SS in the Marvel cinematic universe, I don't think it is going to happen. Fox is super shitty, but they're not dumb.

Well we still don't know how long Marvel is willing to offer Fox an Extension for Daredevil. If Fox really believes they are close to starting pre production with a director and everything, then the extension may be one year for them to get their ducks in a row. Allowing the possibility for Fox to drop the ball and Marvel gets to eat not only a cake but a private all you can eat buffet

Make the deal happen those characters belong with the MCU but daredevil has no business in the MCU he's better off with fox they can make him as mature as he needs to be.

yeah i would love to see silver surfer & galactus in the marvel cinematic universe especially up against thanos,but seeing the rights to daredevil going back to marvel & then having him team up with the punisher would be fantastic.

I don't know how I feel about this... I would love for Marvel to get the rights back for DD and make an amazing movie, which he deserves... But I also understand how much better future Marvel films can actually be, making the Marvel "Universe" saying more literal... since Galactus is like a God... Endless possibilities, so many other characters that can be established!!

Okay, I guess I'm down for the trade! Its not like Fox will actually succeed in making a successful DD or FF4 movie anyway, whether a year or 2 away... the rights will eventually, inevitably return to its rightful place - Marvel!

I love that this is being compared to two kids trading action figures. In that respect it boils down to Fox borrowing a bunch of action figures and wanting to hold onto one of them a little bit longer. Marvel's like, "Hey that's cool but at least give back two of the ones I gave you."

it would be a good move indeed for fox as they are able to do a realy good dare devil movie and make some seriously good reputation flip side to it is that surfer and galactus are FF lore so it does seem unfair to strip the FF of surfer and galactus, where would surfer and galactus fit in with the rest of the marvel universe without the FF let alone namor seems marvel should look to getting all there titles back for production and keeping there universe intact.

@highball. Ghost Rider is still at Sony. Hopefully, after the stinkfest that Spirit of Vengeance was, Sony will give up his rights back to Marvel the way Lionsgate gave up Punisher and Universal gave up Hulk. New Line was finished with the Blade series so they let his rights lapse as well. I think that's it...

I still don't see why everyone is talking about Galactus being the big character of interest here(as cool as it would be). If I remember correctly, it's the Silver Surfer that has serious ties to Thanos and The Infinity Gauntlet, right? (Which would be awesome)

I thought it was posted already that fox would rather keep everything FF and loose Dare Devil as they don't envision a blind guy with enhanced senses is as big a box office draw as a super hero team. Let's be realistic marvel is probably the only company that could make dare devil work. I'd say it's safe to say that if it reverts back to marvel it'll be a while B4 he is on the big screen. And if fox Is smart they won't release an FF movie the same year as an Avengers. I think avengers and avenger related movies will dominate the box office for the next few years (sorry justice league).
