27 G.I. JOE: RETALIATION Screencaps

Well, the trailer certainly features more Channing Tatum than what was previously shown. But we may have to wait till March to find out for sure just how prominent a role Duke plays in G.I.Joe: Retaliation.

The latest reports say that G.I.Joe: Retaliation received some very slick 3-D conversion and will surprise moviegoers in March. Looking at some of the stills below, you can almost pinpoint where the 3D will be utilized. In a pretty crowded Summer 2012 field which included Prometheus, The Dark Knight Rises, The Avengers and The Amazing Spider-Man, G.I.Joe may have the last laugh as it will have little competition for your boxoffice dollars this winter.

I feel like this is going to be the MIB3 of the G.I. Joe franchise; its going to be corny, and all over the place story wise, but is going to have a few new tunique story points to make it seem new, and original.

A GI Joe film would be better if they were all REAL AMERICAN HEROES not the actor themselves but the charactors they portray.GI Joes are an american covert ops team not United Nations. So if they portray them as such then it might be good.At lest they got he looks down packed. Here comes a promotion for Roadblock.

Am i the only person in the world that actually likes the first one? It was exactly what i would expect a movie based on Action Force to be like. I'm really looking forward to this one.

I was a massive fan of Action Force back in the day.

And then GI Joe came along and bought (stole?) loads of the characters.

Still got all those comics from the early 80's.

@Orphix - Action Force was just the name of GI Joe in the UK. same thing, just the name was changed as UK kids may not have necessarily known what a 'GI' is.

@JerBear - Sucked how exactly? It was a summer popcorn flick based on an 80's toyline. Typical 'check your brain at the door' action flick. What's not to like? I think that people are just too damn fussy these days because movies have become too accessible. Available for download soon as they hit the cinema, available on DVD/Blu Ray 5 minutes after they're out of the cinema.

I remember when i would wait for ages for a movie to come into the cinema, and with no internet you didn't know every bloody thing that was going to happen before you saw it like we do nowadays. All you knew was what you saw in the trailer, if you happened to have caught the trailer in front of another movie. Then after that, you had to wait ages, sometimes as much as a year before you could buy the movie on video. Movies felt more 'special' back then, in my opinion at least.

Its a movie based on a toy line. A toy line, by the way, that had tech/weaponry that was often times more advance/fantastic than modern military weaponry. You're not gonna get Oscar-winning performances. Its an action movie. It can be realistic AND fanstastic at the same time. Did I say it was based on a TOYLINE? Quit your crying. To the "armchair critics", if you think you can make a better movie, get of your @SS and make one yourself. We're lucky they made one, let alone TWO movies. Just my two cents.

The first one was fine..like stated before these are based on a toy line & its just fun over the top action.

This one looks like it will be better than the first & waaaaay better than those dogshit Transformer films.

I do have a problem..in the trailer it shows Storm Shadow slice a bullet in two that was fired at him with a sword.
That was already done by Deadpool in Wolverine:Origins movie.

Filmakers...please be more original & quit ripping off other movie scenes.

Ok ok last time I'll say it but the last movie had

Scarlett and a Ninja. We have a Ninja this time and no Scarlett.

No Scarlett no buy ticket

The real reason they held this movie back was because of the election. The premise hit entirely too close to home, and they didn't want anybody noticing. GI Joe...terrorist organization takes over whitehouse. Kinda EXACTLY like the terrorist that holds the position of POTUS now haha It all makes sense, liberal Hollywood and all:P

Really stoked for the 9 minute fight scene with no verbal talking. I had many of the GIJoe marvel comics and the silent issue was one. It was one of my favorite comics that I owned. Till I fell on hard times and had to sell almost all my comics. I can't wait for this.
