Young Justice finally returns to airwaves tomorrow morning and below, producers Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti discuss some highlights of what's passed and what's to come.

On Blue Beetle's role moving forward.
Weisman: Absolutely. As the Light's Partner is finally revealed, we'll see that there is a direct connection to Jamie Reyes and the Scarab affixed to his back.

On upcoming villains making their debut.
Weisman: We could [tease here], but is that really our style? Oh, what the heck: Despero, Deathstroke, Mongul and the Terrible Toyman!

The coolest thing they can't wait for fans to see.
Vietti: There's a pretty dramatic shift coming up for our heroes in the remaining episodes this season. We're used to seeing the Team seek out danger. But from here on out, danger will seek out our Team. This new dynamic will test each young hero like never before and bring a heightened sense tension to the series that we haven't explored before. With every episode to come you'll tell yourself that things couldn't possibly get worse for our heroes. But things WILL get worse!

Which of the new characters introduced thus far this season is their favorite.
Vietti: I love working with Blue Beetle and not just because of the awesome storyline he has this season. With the ability to create from his armor almost any weapon imaginable, Jaime Reyes has the coolest super suit ever. But along with that armor comes the talking Scarab that only he can hear inside his head. Scarab is great wildcard element that can hot switch between comedy and danger in an instant and that's great stuff to work with when writing for Blue Beetle in the show.

Speaking of wildcard elements, another character I enjoy working with is the original Roy Harper who we got to see in action in the eighth episode of Season 2. You haven't seen the last of Roy and he's a character to keep an eye on.

Dear Cartoon Network,
Please give us more than 3 consecutive episodes before taking another mysterious break from the show. And I mean a LOT more than 3 consecutive episodes.

Sincerely,
an angry, yet excited fan

Best comicbook animated show since JL Unlimited. Much respect to Vietti and Weisman. Great work. Its interesting how this show, being animated and essentially for kids, has such a great dynamic; diverse characters and story. The dialogue is impressive for a kids show. Reminds me of the depth in dialogue that BTAS had.

finally someone that just tells us what villians are going to show up instead of just giving us hints. however it's not surprising since we already knew deathstroke, despero, and toyman would appear.

@havocPrime - No they shouldnt be doing Sinestro Corps. That is being reserved for film (as of now)
But supposedly they are building up the series for Blackest night eventually.

Warner Bros has a clause that they cant use certain characters in the same way on TV and film. That is why the animated series didnt rehash GLs origin and why Sinestro has been basically absent. They dont believe spmeonme will pay to see the movie if they get it for free at home.

Apparently they still are considering having either an animated Sinestro Corps war or have that in the movies. (Depending on how the JLA movie plays out we may still get a GL sequel with his story) If not THEN we may get it animated.

Greatest comic book animated series since Batman:TAS! (And that's coming from a Superman fan!)

Best artwork out of ALL DC's animations, hope they keep this style for their future shows.

Can't wait to see the rest of the season. Hope it isn't the last! Only cartoon I can actually keep up with willingly!

They might as well spoil the rest of the episodes for us. I'm expecting 2 more episodes (not including the one tomorrow which most of us already saw) and then reruns until like Sept. At the rate CN is goin, season 2 should end just before 2014.

it's about damn time that we get new episodes of this excellent series. Why not rerun the three episodes we did get to see before the new ones to refresh our memories so we'll be up to speed for them?

Hoping for more Captain Marvel and more Beast Boy. I like the Beast Boy on this show a lot better than the one on Teen Titans.

This is one of the best DC Animated shows since JLU. It is an utter shame they way Cartoon Network is treating this show and Green Lantern: The Animated Series. You'd think CN being a subsidiary of Time Warner, they would give these shows special treatment. Nope. Just a crap ton of hiatuses for no reason, some even without notice.

I got excited about yesterday's "new" episode, then remembered I already saw it before the hiatus. So Young Justice returns next weekend instead. Such a great show; let's hope for Season 3. Also, I'm a fan of the time-jump - it let the creators add more characters and develop new storylines.

I've recently looked up to see if there will be a season three for young justice but there have a lot of websites and forums saying that it isn't going to be happening. There is even a website that is having a petition to cartoon network and warner bros about this.

Don't worry, I'm not trying to spam you or w.e they call it these days. I just absolutely love this show and am trying to spread the word.
