Fresh off Man of Steel, Meloni has signed on to Robert Rodriguez's Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. Deadline reports that Meloni will be portraying 'surprise' a cop but he's not a supporting player, he will be one of the leads.

And from Gordon-Levitt, we have this statement from the actor about joining the Sin City 2 ensemble. “I love how the first movie uses VFX, not to make fake things look real, but to create a heightened world unburdened by the look and feel of reality. Plus, nobody makes a badass like Mr. Rodriguez.”

The film will be released by Dimension Films in the US and Canada on October 4, 2013 and is produced by Robert Rodriguez’s Quick Draw Productions, Aldamisa, AR Films, Miramax and Solipsist.

This is shaping up to be even better than the first one. More excited for this than the wolverine, especially after JGL being cast.

Man of Steel is about to put his career into a category that he is not use to. He is about to get big.

Holy crap. This movie's coming out in 9 months. Has Rodriguez already shot a lot of it? If not, good luck getting it completed in time.

Big fan of Chris Meloni and I am glad he is getting choice rolls now. Maybe Mariska Hargitay should take his cue, because she is a great actress.

Well, good for the man. Glad to see him on the CBM roll lately. And I most definitely agree with the CBMers when they say he's an awesome actor and that he [frick]ing he kicked @$$ as Stabler. No one else can whoop @$$ and intimidate the living cr@p outta suspects like Elliot Stabler. :)

After seeing him in True Blood , Zac Snyder should have casted him as Lex Luthor.

Sin City was shot on a green screen, dirt cheap and very quickly. Which has made many of us wonder why the hell it took so long to get a sequel going.
