I haven't read these. I know that Otto took over Peter's body but can someone tell me why he is fighting crime and being Spider-Man?

before u guys start some troll wars, it's just a little jab. dan slott and scott snyder are good buddies and slott has also written batman. furthermore, just bc u don't like a particular storyline doesn't make someone a bad writer. not necessarily. it just means u dont like the idea.

Superior Spider-Man is a lying, cheating, cowardly, murdering psychopath who has been defeated by his arch-nemesis time after time. Instead of using his knowledge for the greater good, he used it for personal gain and was willing to wipe out millions, if not billions of lives to get what he wants. He stole the body and life of a hero who has spent most of his life doing the right thing and might rape his former wife.

Batman is a master strategist with brilliant detective skills. He has billions of dollars at his disposal and has an arsenal of weapons. He was trained to fight hundreds of men at once and uses his stealth and reflexes to prey on criminals. It doesn't matter if he was ambushed at the bat-signal because he is always two steps ahead of his opponents.

Point one goes to the Dark Knight.

Peter Parker is "Dead" but his Ghost is following him around, so it's only a matter of time before he gets his body back, this is just a story line.

"A giant beacon in the sky announcing to all my enemies where they can find me. Only an idiot would put that into effect..."

take a chill pill batboys. he's not saying that the the bat villains are stupid, only gordon for having a signal announcing all of gotham that he is going to meet with batman in the roof of the GCPD.

and looking at all the times the joker, catwoman, the riddler, bane and others have used the bat-signal to trick batman, he may be right......

It IS stupid for Spider-Man to have one, but not for Batman. Batman uses fear, and 99.999% of what he does is scare the crap out of the small-time criminals. It is MEANT to show criminals that he is out there working.

For Spider-Man? Not so much.

Some people are taking it very personally. Calm down, just a fun joke. Pretty funny one, actually. I may not like the new character direction, but that little jab right there was massively funny.

Shitty comic and pathetic and just plain unneccesary jab from a bullshit story arc. Which slaps any spiderman fan in the face.

Well, Spidey's enemies obviously aren't as afraid of him as Batman's are of him.
