The various cast members of Robert Rodriguez's A Dame To Kill Forhave made much of the greenscreen aspect of the Sin City process. Often the actors are filming alone and must bounce their lines of inanimate objects like tennis balls or soup cans. Josh Brolin could be alone in that car or their could be a passenger or two.

From that shot, we could get something like the below pic. Although Rodriguez tweeted that it was just a mockup and may not be the finished render. Pretty cool, eh?

Never saw the first one, or read the graphic novel if they had one. It seems like the type of film that's based off of a graphic novel barely anyone knew of but is actually good.

I never knew about Watchmen before Snyder came out with his film, and I thank him for that, I enjoyed the comics and the film, but I still need to get Before Watchmen.

The books and film made off the Sin City yarns are awesome. I saw the first film in theaters and loved it then, and I love it now. The recut and extended edition is definitely a treat for fans of the comics, getting to see the scenes lifted directly off the pages like that, but the way they cut the movie for theaters still holds a special magic that finds me pressing play on the theatrical cut. They interwove the stories perfectly.

Here's to hoping this one is just as good, although I'll definitely be missing Ms. Murphy and Mr. Duncan in the their respective roles.

The Lord of the Rings is alright. When you really think about it, it's just nonstop swords and magic.....and that's it.

Shitload of greenscreen. Sin City is one of the few movies I like with heavy CGI.

Sin City was awesome. Loved the dialogue.

Cant wait the second part. I think they should get Clive in this too. Give him little cameo in the end of Dwight´s story or make him be the narrator in it.

Rodriguez' 1st Sin City is the finest CBM ever created, taking the ridiculous cast he's amassed into account I really cant see this movie being anything but brilliant. Marvel/disney, fox, warner, dc all need to take note coz Rodriguez is making their shit look like the dull 2 dimensional guff it actually is.

In Rodriguez we trust!!!!!!

I've been waiting for this for a long time. Hope it's as well done as the first Sin City movie.

For those of you who haven't read the comics, they are definitely worth the read. It's dark, but at the same time it's intricate -- and of course, it's very satisfying. There's a whole world (or city, I should say) that Miller created and it's a fascinating one. ;) Check it out!

Loved the first one, lookin' forward to seein' this one. As for CGI, I'm glad they are able to do so much now. With the exception of the original movie (which is still a favorite of mine), compare any version of King Kong you want with the '05 version, and you can see the difference that CGI made. Granted sometimes CGI isn' the route to go, car chases and so on.

If Marvel ever makes another Punisher movie they should give Josh Brolin a shot because in that black and white picture of him he looks dame close to Frank Castle as you can get.

Also watched W. over the weekend he was pretty good in that too.
