In the latest issue of Cineplex Magazine, Emma Stone is interviewed about her animated feature film, The Croods. In that interview the talented actress also touches on The Amazing Spider-Man 2 which is currently filming in New York.

"I'm in it, Andrew is in it. They just cast Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn, who is such a great actor, I think that will be wonderful. And Shaeline Woodley as Mary Jane, who's also wonderful. So there's all that, and the script is very, very good. I'm very much looking forward to it.

I'm very happy the way our first one was received so well. It'll be cool on the next one to see how Gwen and Peter bridge that distance that was between us at the end of it. I think it all unfolds pretty neat. And I hope they continue letting Gwen be heroic. I think they might!"

A new team of writers (see below) were brought in for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 so fans can look forward to a fresh take in the sequel. The film is currently shooting in NYC and you can expect to be inundated with set photos over the next few weeks.

I hate when comedians laugh at their own jokes. I can't tell if it's just narcissism or an attempt at a Jedi mind-trick effect on the audience. Either way, it's really, really tacky.

In just about every interview with the cast of The Amazing Spider-Man, one of the first things they say is, "The script is great." My guess is saying that is part of the contract. I'll keep my fingers crossed, but I won't get my hopes up too high.

For me it was way better than all those Raimi movies.

Sure, Lizard was so cliche villain that at some point i just wanted to smack Vanderbilt in a face. And that scene in a sewer, showing the master evil genius plan on the screens of monitors ...
That's just lame writing. But the humor was there, some really good character development too ...

My friend said to me once "holy shit ... that was a real spiderman. Not some retarded guy like in those other movies"
NeoBaggins
NeoBaggins - 3/1/2013, 9:54 AM
TASM is a small "Spider-man" series that doesn't come close to the frenzy that was the Raimi trilogy. We can drop cliche quips all day about Spider-man3, but all three films surpasses TASM on all levels of film making.

Sorry.
