New TEEN TITANS GO! Series Promo

New TEEN TITANS GO! Series Promo

It was a DC Nation short that's receiving a promotion to regular half-hour series this April. Here's a short promo that aired this morning during the series finale of Young Justice and Green Lantern: TAS.

Yeah...I covered Young Justice and Green Lantern: TAS pretty religiously but I think I'll pass on this one. However, I will be giving Beware the Batman a chance. We should expect new material from that animated show to be released later this month for WonderCon.

The Teen Titans are returning to Cartoon Network with all-new comedic adventures, and this time they’re giving viewers a look at what life is really like as a teen superhero… once the cape comes off. The half-hour animated series, Teen Titans Go! premieres on Tuesday, April 23, at 7:30pm (ET/PT) and will be rebroadcast during the DC Nation block on Saturday mornings at 10:30am (ET/PT) beginning April 27.

The character-driven comedy series focuses on the funny that happens in between saving the world and living together as teenagers without adult supervision. The comedic mayhem of the animated series is punctuated by pranks and the occasional need to fight crime, but it will also deal with the everyday issues of adolescence. With epic staring contests to decide who does the laundry, a series of quests and battles to construct the perfect sandwich or fighting crime in Jump City, one thing is for sure, these Titans will always be ready for an adventure inside the house and out.

The principal voice cast from the original Teen Titans series, based on DC Comics characters, will reprise their roles in Teen Titans Go!, with Scott Menville as the voice of Robin, the slightly power-mad perfectionist and leader of the Teen Titans. Hynden Walch voices Starfire, an alien struggling to fit in; Tara Strong voices Raven, the sardonic, deadpan demon girl; Greg Cipes returns as the slightly dim but always loveable loafer, Beast Boy; and Khary Payton provides the voice of Cyborg, a laidback kid who is half teen, half robot.

I'm giving neither Teen Titans Go, or Beware the Batman a chance. I will admit BTB doesn't look terrible, but they could have added these shows without cancelling YJ and GLTAS. They could have even at least gave us a season six of the original Teen Titans, maybe with a new animation design like YJ, rather than this bullshit show.
Also if they would have market the show better, it would have sold more toys, so CN and WB can blame themselves for having to cancel the show. Plus, who the [frick] put shows more targeted for Teens and Adults on in the morning on Saturday.... Its like they didn't want the shows to succeed.

Yea passing on TTGo and giving BtB a chance although I hated the idea of Alfred with a shotgun initially but remember he's used a shotgun on occasion in the comics while trying to protect the cave.

Why did they cancel Young Justice???! It was an awesome show, it had a great storyline and everyone loved it, what the hell was Cartoon network thinking?!

I'm watching green lantern tas and just saw the promo...my god Cartoon Network, teen titans go is f***ing waste....I honestly hope your ratings for that pile of crap you call a cartoon is the lowest ever.
The least you could've done was add this garbage to your DC nation block, not cancel GL:TAS and one of the best cartoons I've seen, YJ:I.

Lovers of cartoons and ppl of CBM, I beg you not to watch this crap...maybe that way they'll learn their lesson.

I think I will give Beware The Batman a chance before writing it off. If it doesn't impress me, that's fine. I wasn't waiting for another Batman show anyway.

@LEVITKUZ To be honest, this new show isn't really the problem, but that YJ and GLTAS is now going to be replaced by them. They could have extended DC Nation, but nope, they rather give us another Batman show, and a dumb down version of Teen Titans. I actually want a new generation to enjoy Teen Titans as I have, even if it gets dumb down, but not if it's replacing shows that I'd rather see.(sounds a little confusing, I know)

This is what replaces Young Justice. LMFAO what a pathetic joke.

I think we all share the same sentiment when I say Cartoon Network made a huge mistake by dropping Young Justice, perhaps CN's most engaging show on their daytime programming. Green Lantern I found a bit boring, that I can understand getting the axe, but not YJ.

Didn't they already do this as a regular series? Guess they are trying to reach the younger demographics again. With all the possible DC properties, why keep playing with the Titans? This one looks more like PRE-Teen Titans! FAIL

I dont understand how a great show such as YJ even got canceled more less replaced by "Teen Titans Go" I understand the cancelation of their figure line being to expensive but there was also opportunity by fixing it by just revamping and re-releasing them as DC Universe line without base parts. Teen Titans Go is DC Nations way of saying F-U all higher ages this is just for the kiddy kids. I disliked even the DC Nation shorts but this is the icinig on the cake. YJ is only show I kept up with, to only dump that cake in the trash and go buy a pikachu cake and say who wants pie ?! Boooo DC YOU JUST LOST A VIEWER

All we're gonna be stuck with this summer is TEEN TITANS GO!, BEWARE THE BATMAN, ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN, and HULK AND THE AGENTS OF S.M.A.S.H. I miss BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD and THE SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN.

You all keep using the excuse "younger viewers", the "younger viewers" also watched Young Justice and Green Lanter: TAS. [frick] this stupid show, I hope it fails and Young Justice gets brought back. Cartoon Network, you're the shittiest network at making decisions. Listen to your fans or else, no fans=no views.

This looks like total crap. After today's season (series) finale of Young Justice, with that potential cliffhanger, they need to bring it back. I can only hope Teen Titans Go is a total flop. I may give Beware The Batman a chance, but I was never a fan of the Green Lantern CGI stuff. When this grownass man wants to watch cartoons, I want actual cartoons.

Beware the batman looks pretty good. They did say it was dark. This new teen titans will probably be watched by me four year old son. Oh so I thought! I shows him the promo and he said its a dumb show! See even younger viewers know that new tt is crap! YJ has gone down in quality and Gl. Has gone up. BRING GL BACK!!! Or at least make BtB good

@RextheKing... Ditto!!! Totally agree with everything you said! All of us here know that YJ is of superior quality, with great animation and even better character-driven, layered storytelling!! But to give it a Saturday morning time slot, and have the show disappear for months at a time?! Why set up your own project to fail?? Honestly, my DVR and I would have followed YJ to any time slot, but CN should've taken note from FOX TV who at least knows how to reach an older demographic with a Thursday night animation time slot!! YJ... We'll miss ya!! So sad!!!

P.S-big ups to "Wally" for takin one for the team!!

Anybody who wants Young Justice or Green Lantern back GO BUY THE DVDs instead of download. it worked for Family Guy and it got Serenity made. Petitions and dumb crap wont work nearly as well as making the company MONEY.

But after losing Young Justice and Green Lantern, WHO CARES about teen titans? Cyborg isnt even a Titan anymore, he's a Leaguer.

As I bid adieu to the only two remaining reasons I had for turning on CN anymore, I guess I can say I'll get back that hour I just lost with Daylight Savings Time going into effect!

Maybe Vietti and Weisman will start churning out Direct-to-Video?! Well, one can hope. So long CN!!

Wow Power Puff Girls much?

This is one of those things where it sounds like a good idea but is really just horrible. I hope they honestly learn from this mistake. Poor choice of art styles to mix. Even if you try to justify it with a 'It's for kids" spin it still cannot be rationalized. Poor choice.
