Two new stills were released from the film's official app featuring Kirk & Spock and the often discussed John Harrison. The portrait-esque stills obviously don't give much away but there's reportedly a new trailer on the way later today that may shed some light on what everyone's looking at.

Besides, that photo from BC is higher than it is wide, could this be an IMAX shot? The other reason that I think this is because the image of Spock in the volcano had the same aspect ratio, and that was an IMAX scene anyway.

Speaking of the prologue, I hope JJ has longer IMAX shot sequences than there were in the prologue. No complaining, the IMAX footage was absolutely terrific but it's just nicer to have a long (action-) sequence shot in IMAX. I hope that one day, the entire third act of a film can be shot with IMAX if not the entire film.

I seriously hope JJ goes with IMAX again on STAR WARS episode VII, it fits perfectly :D
