Iron Man 3 World Tour b-roll

"I'm a pretty tough critic on these movies and I actually think the third one, in a lot of ways, is the best one. It better be or you (the fans) will be mad at me."

Based on Warren Ellis' Extremis storyline and following the box-office shattering events of Marvel's The Avengers, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) has become the target of global terrorist The Mandarin (Sir Ben Kingsley) who has secretly been the mastermind behind most of the tragedies in Tony's life. Isolated from his fellow Avengers, Tony will have to devise his most advanced armor yet if he hopes to save the woman he loves, Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow). Standing beside Tony as he takes on Mandarin's villainous allies and Ten Rings subordinates will be War Machine James Rhodey (Don Cheadle) who was conspicuously absent during the Chituari invasion in New York. Based on a screenplay by Shane Black (Lethal Weapon, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) and Drew Pearce (Godzilla, Sherlock Holmes 3).

@Dick I don't agree selling a movie is the point of making a movie in the first place, usually it's to tell a story.....unless your Michael Bay....but i do agree it's a bit sad he did it....but hey he's having fun!

@imadick As a huge fan of Korean music/culture, they are very proud of PSY's success with 'Gangnam Style' so RDJ doing it met a lot to them, and at the press conference they even asked him to do it again. They respect that he even knows an artist! Idk why that would be a problem.

He's getting paid millions to be Iron Man, do a craft he loves and travel the world and meet amazing people. Give me a break, I'd dance Hammer style to be in his shoes and you would to.

@dick Of course the Studios part is to get something (money) in return, don't misunderstand me on that. I believe a director's side though and actor's, is to tell a story.

What i meant with the Michael Bay gag, was even as a director, he mostly focuses on box office...and explosions....rather than a decent story etc.

@Marvelite39 RDJ is a narcissist and loves playing himself in the Iron Man movies. Someone who calls the shots and/or the film-going audience will tire of him first. But not himself *Palpatine voice.
