Micro-News: INTERSTELLAR Scouting, Fandral Regrets, 616- Miles Morales And More

Brian Michael Bendis revealed on his tumblr that yes, there is a 616-Marvel Universe Miles Morales (as hinted at in the conclusion of Spider-Men) and that yes, there are plans to do something with the character. What those plans are and when they'll be implemented is anyone's guess.

Christoper Nolan is scouting filming locations for his net film project, a sci-fi time travel thriller titled Interstellar which also deals with concepts such as black holes and alternate dimensions. Reportedly, The Dark Knight Rises director was in Iceland over Easter to scout film locations.

Unsurprisingly, Josh Dallas is a little bummed out that his Once Upon a Time schedule didn't permit him to film Thor: The Dark World.

"Of course there was disappointment there. It was a movie I loved doing, and I was super-excited by going into [the sequel]. That was always the plan, to do the second one. But unfortunately flying from the Once Upon a Time set in Vancouver to London where the second one was shot [would have] just made my head explode. So unfortunately I had to bow out of that role, but Zachary Levi is going to be brilliant and I can't wait to see the second one. I will be the first in line to see it."

Here's a new critic's tv spot for HBO's Game of Thrones which also features brief glimpses of new footage.

Weird observation but this will be Nolan's third film with an I in the title. Insomnia, Inception, Interstellar. I don't know why I had to point that out. Fun fact for the day! lol

616 Morales!? Bring it! Hopefully he's going to be older as well, that should be interesting, or at least more interesting than having him be a 12 year-old in the 616 universe too.

Iceland, really ? Rather cliché , don't you think ?
First the Prometheus, then Oblivion, now Interstellar.

It's like with this "let us put the villain in this glass box so he and our hero could chat a bit, then we will let him escape, because from the beginning he was planning to get caught , only to be as close to his real target as he could get ..."

Dark Knight (although no glass box yet), Avengers, Skyfall, Star Trek 2.

:)

It's like a trend now.

I really hope Interstellar bombs. I just don't like Nolan, never did. He's too pretentious, self-important and takes himself way too seriously. I hate the fact that people act like he can do no wrong. Maybe when Interstellar tanks people can see that he isn't the great filmmaker everyone tries to make him out to be. Sorry, just my opinion.

616 Miles Morales I kinda imagined him as like a porn star or something, the total opposite of his Ultimate version, the one thing no one would ever expect

I like the fact that Nolan is appling his pretentious style of directing towards grounded
SCI-FI.

In 2014, we will get intersteller and the directorial debut of Wally Pfister's Transendence. Two SCI-FI epics off the Nolan tree.

You'd think Nolan haters would be happy that this seems to indicate he is truly done with CBM's.

@marvel72 That's a lot of films to "give a shit about" from a single director. Now that I think about it, Nolan may hold the most titles that I like under a single director.

@ neobaggins

-martin scorsese 5 (taxi driver,goodfellas,raging bull,casino & the departed)

-quentin tarantino 5 (reservoir dogs,pulp fiction,kill bill,inglorious basterds & django unchained)

@Marv, for a person who doesn't care about Nolan's films, your Nolan list is pretty big! Plenty of titles!
