It is weird since they are dating in real life you don't know if that is acting or them just being luby-dubby.

This Garfield guy just pisses me off. He has such a punchable face. Emma deserves better than him. I just can't see this movie at the theater because of him. I'll wait for it on Redbox.

Yes CoulsonLives, I watched the first movie on Redbox. Honestly I was not happy that they decided to reboot Spiderman after only five years. At least wait 10 years to reboot the series. I'm talking time between Spidy 3 and TASM btw. There was just no need for another movie. After watching the movie on Redbox, I was not that impressed. Loved Emma but hated everything else.

Garfield just comes off as a hipster Spiderman rather than the geek we know and love.

No Kaine I'm not like the Marvel fan who says I'll not watch Man of Steel and then they are camped outside the theater or the DC snob who pisses on Marvel movies but will see every Phase 2 movie three times.

My wife and I have a child on the way and we budget our money accordingly. We have already decided to see only 5 first run movies at the theater, everything else we will see at the dollar theater or at Redbox. It's defitely tough for a movie buff like myself but it does make me choose my movies on a tougher scale.

I already have four movies set aside to see: IM3, MoS (unless the trailer is a lie), Thor 2 and Star Trek 2. That leaves me one more movie. I don't know if that will be Wolverine or something like Gatsby. Honestly our dollar theater gets all these movies and it has a great screen , so I'm not missing anything just waiting.

So to make an already long story short, I'm not an impatient fanboy who lacks the ability to delay gratification.

Pcoat. Williamsburg douche wouldn't even be caught dead in. John Mayer. Ny. Yeah.., this is wardrobe.., why all of a sudden there's no beef with these images. So much inability to accept Stark's Iron Man 3 look.., this is the same, but more record store friendly in the eyes of a 40 year old New Yorker that orders everything online. She actually has to research Peter's look for this film. :-P

This is the first time I've ever just visually went, "nope." The story will be good and everything else is good, but there is always something. Ahh it's all in the execution. Hell if Keaton can sell a macro jew-fro(if Jonah Hill said it) as Bruce Wayne in '89, it's totally plausible here.., it's like they purposely aren't listening to talkbackers or are straying far from. Hmmmmm.., and that's not a pathetic sound effect for pic 2.

^^ Wow, Emperor Electro. Sheesh.

@Coulson. My theater charges $12.00 to see a movie. I spent $18 a ticket for me and my wife to see The Avengers on 3D Imax. That hurts when you add on concessions. I'm a 41 year old guy so I do remember gettin into movies as a kid for $3.00. I'm still feeling the sticker shock of these movies.

I want all these comic book movies to be great. So you understand that I feel pissed when I pay full price to movies that have disappointed like TDKR, Green Lantern, Wolverine, TASM, Superman Returns, and Charlie's Angels Full Throttle (my wife made me see it).

The way I see it, if you guys are so focused on complaining about how Peter is dressed in this series then you clearly have nothing better to complain about. TASM was a great interpretation of the Spider-Man mythology, and a damn good film in its own right. I have no idea how TASM 2 will turn out, based on what we know so far it could be great or rubbish, but I'll hope for the best. If you don't like TASM, stop bitching and write a script for your 'better' version.
